Could this partnership actually come to fruition, though?
Ezra Sosa might have had just one lackluster season as a Dancing With the Stars pro — getting eliminated first alongside his oh-so controversial celebrity dance partner, con artist Anna Delvey, during DWTS season 33 — but that has not stopped the 24-year-old from sharing his suggestions for future seasons.
Eager to return for DWTS season 34 — which would mark his sophomore season as a DWTS pro, as opposed to a troupe member — Sosa is sharing who exactly he would want his dance partner to be. With social media sensation Alix Earle, as well as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, already announced as contestants, the Utah native certainly has some stellar choices, but it looks like Sosa has someone else in mind.
The DWTS pro shared his dream dance partner's identity while sitting down with US Weekly for an interview. Keep scrolling to see what — or should we say who? — he had to say.
" If there was a person, like a dream partner for you, who would it be?" the reporter asked Sosa to kick off the conversation, to which he swiftly replied, "Right now it's Trisha Paytas."
For those who are unfamiliar, Paytas is a full-time mother and social media sensation with more than 10 million followers via TikTok. In addition to sharing some hilarious videos via the platform, the 37-year-old also hosts an extremely successful podcast, the Just Trish podcast, where she comments on current pop culture topics, all while showing off her signature sense of humor.
Her most recent endeavor, though, was her 30-city The Eras of Trish tour, consisting of “epic musical numbers, surprise special guests, and maybe even Broadway’s first live mukbang" as she traversed all across North America.
Wrapping said tour at Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort on June 8, could her next mission be to conquer DWTS season 34? Only time will tell...
Nevertheless, Sosa continued, "I would love to have Trisha Paytas on the show. I just did her podcast. We get along really well. She's iconic."
He concluded by stating that she "has some dance ability," revealing to the reporter, "We did a little dance TikTok, so I saw how she dances a little bit, but I hope she gets to do it someday."
Naturally, fans had a field day, taking to the comment section of the interview to express their support. One fan wrote, "NEED her on DWTS," while another added, "Yessss need to see her on the stage 🤩🤩🤩" A third exclaimed, "PLEASE HAVE HER ON 🥰🥰🥰"
Paytas herself even commented, writing "Cryyyyyying 😭😭😭😭😭😭" underneath the interview. How sweet is that?
With names like Kai Cenat and Dylan Efron circulating as we speak, will Trisha Paytas join the DWTS season 34 casting rumors? It is safe to say that we will be keeping up with the Emmy Award-winning series via Instagram, @dancingwiththestars — as well as Sosa and Paytas, @ezra.sosa and @trishapaytas — for any further updates.
Needless to say, we are on the edge of our seats!
