As she spoke on the show in her VT, Trisha shared how she has stage four terminal cancer, but wants to make the most out of life and keep living life to the fullest.

Speaking to AJ Odudu and Will Best ahead of her official entry, Trisha said: "It's my new normal.

"I'm going into the Big Brother house to show you can't be so scared of dying that you become frightened of living."

And now it has been revealed how she will be receiving cancer treatment while in the CBB house.

Speaking to The Mirror ahead of her TV stint, Trisha spoke about how her oncologist is working alongside the Big Brother team.

"I've got a special therapist who's happy to work with the medic on the show," she explained.

She then said: "My palliative care team - and when I say that word everybody screams and runs away, but it's symptom treatment - is working with the team here too.

TRISHA'S TREATMENT PLAN

"And then when it comes to my treatment, I had one infusion on Monday, so I've got to jump on a plane and go straight back to have the next one as soon as the show is over."

Trisha then spoke about the "bag full of meds" that she is taking in the house with her.

She also revealed how her oncologist has planned her treatment around the production schedule.

Celebrity Big Brother 2025 line-up

Celebrity Big Brother is back for a brand new series, with a whole host of stars set to live it up in the famous compound.

Emotional fans were quick to comment on social media as she entered the CBB house last night.

One person said on X: "It’s so brave of her to go in given her prognosis and to share that with the nation."

Another said: "Wow what a brave woman Trisha is. Hats off to her."

And a third added: “All love to Trisha Goddard.

"Literally losing her life and taking all opportunities coming to her to live her life and have all the experiences she can."

BRUTAL SIDE EFFECTS

In December 2024, Trisha opened up about the kind of cancer treatment she was receiving and how it impacted her.

Trisha underwent chemotherapy last year and then provided fans with an update.

At the end of the year, after undergoing chemo, she posted snaps of her out on a walk saying she was using "movement as medicine".

Revealing the brutal side effects of treatment, Trisha said she had chosen to avoid using anti-nausea medication that worsens her constipation.

Trisha wrote: "My first walk after my chemo/hormone treatment is always tough…

"I’ve chosen to have minimal anti-nausea medication because it makes my already bad medically-induced constipation even worse….
Even though it’s being treated.

"But I’ve found that what all the research shows is true: a brisk walk in the fresh air helps, but bloody hell - not gonna lie: it’s damned hard.

"Don’t wanna leave a trail of puke on the boardwalk, innit?

"Experience has taught me that the more meds you take - the more side-effects, so whenever safe and possible, with my Dr’s help, I do whatever I can for myself to handle my symptoms."
