Nella Rose has made a bold career move following her time on I’m A Celeb. Instead of sticking to her usual content, Nella is about to release a rap song, and it's set to drop on December 27th. In a fun twist, the track is part of her 'Twixmas' campaign.
Twixmas refers to the period between Christmas and New Year's, often seen as a time for relaxing, unwinding, and indulging in festive treats. It’s the "in-between" time when many people are off work and enjoying a break. The 'Twixmas' campaign encourages individuals to unwind and prioritize themselves during the festive season. The collaboration with D Double E and Nella features a track that blends UK grime with festive themes, aiming to resonate with audiences and offer a fresh take on post-Christmas celebrations.
In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, Nella joked about taking her Twixmas rap single to the next level. She quipped: "I'm a rapper now, this is me, forget that I'm a YouTuber or a presenter, I'm a rapper. So when they think of me, Nella, they're gonna think of SexyRedd, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, I'm up there now.
Explaining the new single that she's featured in, Nella explained: "It's a music video, so I went into the studio and I recorded my little adlibs because I'm a big time rapper, and then we shot a music video in a house. That was the first music video where I'm not just a video vixen, I'm actually part of the video as an artist, because as I said I'm a rapper now."
The song will be available on TikTok and YouTube, inviting users to share their 'Twixmas' moments using the hashtag #Twixmas. This comes after her stint on the 2023 series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! After 16 days in the jungle, Nella was the second celebrity to be evicted. On the show, Nella had an altercation with First Dates star Fred Siriex after a comment he made about being old enough to be her dad.
Nella, who expressed previously to Fred that both her parents are no longer alive, quite matter of factly expressed her dislike for the comment and felt it was best to cut off all ties with him, including not speaking to him or eating anything he cooks.
The fallout from this exchange gained media attention, with some viewers supporting Nella for standing up for herself, while others criticised the way the situation unfolded.
Following her appearance on the show, Nella continued to pursue her career in the entertainment industry, including hosting the Channel 4.0 digital series "Tapped Out" and co-hosting the upcoming show "Boss Pitches" alongside GK Barry.
