The star-studded dancing contest won't air this week as usual as a result of the coverage of the 2024 presidential election.
The programme, which airs on ABC, will be bumped from the schedules as Kamala Harris and Donald Trump battle it out to be crowned the next president of the USA.
Viewers of the show has been left fuming at the decision amid recent controversy surrounding the judges scoring.
Fans hoping to tune into the show on Tuesday evening will be left bitterly disappointed with all coverage of the election taking priority.
Hitting out online, one disgruntled fan said: "This election is taking away from my weekly Tuesday DWTS UGHHHHH."
Another added: "Why tf is there no dwts on election night? I don’t remember them ever skipping weeks like this, but I also have the worst memory of all time."
A third went on to share: "Next week …. no dwts …. no agatha … and the f***ing election."
Before a fourth raged: "So obviously #DWTS can't be on next week because of election night. So why can't it be on Monday night? It is tough waiting so long!!"
The news that DWTS will be taking a break for a week comes after show judge Carrie Ann Inaba ignited a furore with her scoring decisions.
Fans reckon the much-maligned dancer and choreographer - who has featured on the ABC show since 2005 - has been favoring members of the opposite sex when giving her take on routines.
Viewers of the dance show were left unhappy with Carrie Ann and her comments to Disney actress, Chandler Kinney, 24.
Along with her professional partner Brandon Armstrong, the duo tackled a Viennese Waltz to Secret, by Denmark and Winter.
However, whilst the routines left her fellow judges Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough whipping out their 10 paddle, Carrie Ann opted to score just a nine to the star.
Addressing her analysis she said of their dance: "So it was really strong, but I wouldn't call it perfection just because it's such a higher criteria."
The former dancer handed out 10’s to every contestant - except Olympian Ilona Maher, 28, and Pretty Little Liars actress Chandler - despite both women having the most technically difficult numbers of the evening.
One took to X to rage: "Chandler not getting a perfect score because Carrie Ann loves to underscore women every season."
Another noted: "Them giving all the men good scores when they’re hardly dancing (just doing lifts) is my villain origin story."
A third put: "These judges are so harsh on the women but praise the men for doing the bare minimum… I don’t understand."
Carrie Ann's recent comments have sparked speculation that could be dumped from the show as a judge amid the recent backlash.
“She is very much beloved on set but she doesn't have her place quite like she used to. She doesn't fit in as well as she once did,” a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun.
“That's not to say she's doing a bad job necessarily but again, she just doesn't fit in with the show or crew like she once did.
"It's led to many awkward moments on set, some captured by the cameras.”
The latest episode saw The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran axed from the contest despite gaining impressive scores.
