Congrats to the newlyweds!
Bachelor Nation fans got to watch fan-favorite couple Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross fall in love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
Since then, the two have been enjoying their lives together in Austin, Texas, with their adorable dog Honey.
The couple recently revealed they are now officially married with a Bachelor Nation exclusive wedding video, which was filmed by Nicholas DeRose (@visualrosefilms).
Zach and Kaity tied the knot on May 23, 2025, in an intimate ceremony at Chapel Dulcinea in Austin, surrounded by their immediate family and close friends.

Now, the newlyweds are spilling behind-the-scenes wedding details on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, including sharing a special connection to First Lady Michelle Obama!
While talking about her bridal look, Kaity detailed trying to find a pair of earrings to go with her classic strapless Pronovias wedding gown.
She said, “The earrings were the main thing that I was trying to go after. After I tried on that wedding dress at Pronovias, I went over to Kendra Scott and was like, ‘Oh, maybe I’ll find something in here.’ I ended up falling in love with these earrings and I was like, ‘Can I see these? How much are these?’ And they’re like, ‘Oh, they’re $10,000.’”
Kaity then shared how she was able to get the earrings and later learned that Michelle Obama wore the exact same pair.
“I have a really good friend that actually works for Kendra Scott and she’s quite high up, so she actually pulled some strings and she made it work,” she said. “And she was on the phone with me and she’s like, ‘The only other person that’s had these earrings is Michelle Obama.’”

Zach chimed in and revealed that Kaity’s mom later found a photo of Michelle Obama wearing those same earrings Kaity wore on their wedding day.
“I love the earrings so much, they went with the dress perfectly, they were perfect,” Kaity expressed.
Podcast hosts Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile then asked if the two shared a first look before the ceremony, and Zach recalled the moment he first saw his bride.
“The first time I saw her was when she walked down the aisle, so I never saw her dress [before then],” he revealed. “I saw her about 50-60 yards across the corner, and immediately saw her in a white dress and I had tears."
So sweet! We couldn’t be happier for Zach and Kaity and we are wishing these two a lifetime of love and happiness.
