Influencers Invade Lake Mahopac
If you missed it, at the beginning of August 2024 Putnam County residents were buzzing with news of a heavy hitter hanging out in the area.
Influencers, content creator and boxer Jake Paul helicoptered in to Petra Island on Lake Mahopac and took over the Massaro House which they then called the Betr Content House.
Betr is Paul's sports media company founded back in 2022.
Some of the top creators like Sketch and Hawk Tuah girl showed up for the content filled weekend. At the time we weren't too sure what the content was that they were creating in the Betr Content House, however a recent video gave us a little peek at what they were working on.
Carmel, New York Police Stop Jake Paul on Lake Mahopac
Looks like the Betr Content House antics caught the attention of Carmel Police. Sort of.
Jake Paul recently posted an Instagram video getting pulled over by local Carmel Police on Lake Mahopac. However, it looks like the officers are in on it and part of a commercial for Paul's new body spray called W, Wave Break:
And before you start getting all bent out of shape about the police filming videos with an influencer while they're working...
The Carmel Police Department addressed this issue when Paul first landed in Putnam County:

Lake Mahopac, The New Celebrity Hot Spot?
Now that Jake Paul, Hawk Tuah girl and Sketch have all made their way to Lake Mahopac, can we expect it to be the next big celebrity hot spot?
