Influencer and podcaster Grace Eleanor Keeling, known as GK Barry, has touched down in Australia and is confirmed to be heading into the I’m A Celeb jungle as the 2024 campmates are confirmed.
The social media giant joins a star-studded cast including former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, Coronation Street icon Alan Halsall, Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough, singer Tulisa Contostavlos, Loose Women's Jane Moore, TV presenter Melvin Odoom, WAG Coleen Rooney, McFly's Danny Jones and boxing champion Barry McGuigan.
The TikTok sensation is known best for her witty dry humour, and her Saving Grace podcast where she interviews other influencers, love island stars and British Icons like Alan Carr and Alison Hammond.
She originally found fame in 2020 by posting videos on TikTok during lockdown, before branching out to podcasting in 2022. Now Grace can be seen presenting, she has hosted the socials for Pride Of Britain awards and is the youngest member of the Loose Women panel - after joining the show in August this year.
ITV bosses are likely hoping to appeal to the Gen Z audience by having Grace on the show.
But who really is GK Barry?
Who is GK Barry?
Grace Eleanore Keeling goes by GK Barry, the pseudonym came about at the start of her social media journey when she didn't want anyone in her area to come across her videos. She explained in 2021 that Barry is actually one of her friends' last names.
The 25 year old documented her daily life as a student at Nottingham Trend University, and has quickly built an empire. With having 498,000 subscribers on YouTube, 869k on Instagram and 3.6million on TikTok.
She is rich and authentic throughout her platforms, often talking about her person life on her podcast Saving Grace. She posts every Wednesday and has outrageous conversations with the staring guests, sharing wild and embarrassing stories from her life.
Loose Women panellist
Grace joined the Loose Women panellist in August this year, and is officially the youngest to join the show - having been born in 1999, the same year the programme began.
She has brought a different aspect of diversity to the show, which is typically aimed at older audiences.
Famous girlfriend
GK Barry is in a relationship with England football striker Ella Rutherford. The pair met on social media and their relationship was kept a secret for a while, with grace often referring to her as "eyelashes" whenever she spoke about her during episodes of Saving Grace.
When the couple finally revealed they were together, the footballer mentioned that she slid into Graces DMs saying "Is now a good time to tell you that you're beautiful?"
Grace and Ella keep their relationship quite private, only posting together on social media occasionally.
The influencer has struggled with emetophobia, a phobia that causes intense anxiety towards vomiting, her whole life. Speaking on Loose Woman she said her phobia has caused her to struggle so much getting on public transport, confessing “I would look at someone and if they were fidgeting, I’d be like, they’re going to vomit.”
When she touched down in Australia as the fifth campmate to arrive, she shared that she'd drunk a whole bottle of wine on the 20+ hour flight to ease her anxiety.
The 24th season of I'm A Celeb starts this Sunday on ITV at 9pm.
