The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 is here, and with it comes some familiar faces and also, change. The season is set to bring back Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, and Garcelle Beauvais, as well as introduce a new Housewife to the mix in Bozoma Saint John. But a couple of names are missing from that list, because Crystal Kung Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley will not be returning for the upcoming season.
But that likely doesn’t mean the season will be devoid of storylines, with the show also set to have guest appearances from Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly, alongside Camille Grammar, Faye Resnick and interior designer Martyn Bullardso.
Still, the changes have led to speculation about the reasons for the departure of Crystal Kung Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley, with rumors swirling particularly about the departure of Crystal Kung Minkoff. She’d joined the show in 2021 for Season 11, and was the first Asian American on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

According to Us Weekly, the decision to leave was not Kung Minkoff’s, and she was reportedly “devasted” by the fact that she wasn’t asked to return. “She was fired because she didn’t deliver,” an insider told the outlet. “Producers told her she doesn’t have a storyline, so they had to let her go.”
Back in April, she confirmed her departure in an Instagram video. “I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s very bittersweet,” she said. “Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons. Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor.”
She also reflected back on the importance of being the first Asian American on the show,“I have since just have really understood the magnitude of what that meant for people,” she said. “I just wanted to thank you guys for being such an incredible support for me, and I hope that I have been for you, sharing my story with my ED [eating disorder], sharing stories about my father and his Alzheimer’s. I’ve heard so many incredible stories from you guys.”
But she also teased this might not be the end of her time in the spotlight, saying it was not a “goodbye” but a “see you soon.”
“I have some other things going on that I will be sharing with you soon that I’ll still be able to connect with you because at the end of the day, that has been my biggest gift of filming this show is connecting with so many of you with your beautiful stories,” she added. “So, more to come but I just, I’m so grateful for everyone’s love and support. You guys are an incredible audience with your own unique story to tell and I hope that you guys all one day have your opportunity.”
Her husband, Rob Minkoff, responded to that post by saying he was planning to “bring it” on the next season of RHOBH. Sadly, we won’t get to see that happen.
