Vito Coppola has surprised his fans by sharing a video on social media in which he was seen alongside someone very special.
The Strictly Come Dancing star took to Instagram with the clip, which he filmed during his visit home to Italy. It showed him in the kitchen with his beloved mum, Rosa, as they whipped up Pasta alla Norma, a classic Sicilian pasta dish with eggplant.
Alongside the video, Vito wrote: "Let’s cook with mamma Rosa. Watch the full video on my YouTube channel: VITO’s WAY and let me know in the comments what do you think.
"Have you ever tried this pasta?? What dish would like me to make for you? #loveisthebestingredient."
Fans then quickly rushed to respond to the post, but many were left distracted by Rosa's youthful appearance. @vitocoppolaukfanpage said: "Your mum is beautiful, she looks so young."
@thebodybuildingwitch commented: "Your mum???? Wow she looks amazing x." @tina_donnachie wrote: "She can't possibly be your mamma... She looks so young!!! Like, 30 tops!!!" chocolateloverrrr2222222222 posted: "Your Mom? Looks so young."
@emslufcx replied: "That lady is not old enough to be your mother @vitocoppola!! What do they put in the food in Italy? I’m moving there asap if makes me look THAT good!" @angelmegahey added: "Your mum is beautiful, I thought she was your sister. She looks very youthful."
Vito is currently travelling the country alongside fellow professional Dianne Buswell, performing their own show. The pair revealed back in May 2024 that they would be going on their very own joint tour, titled Dianne and Vito: Red Hot and Ready, which comes from those behind the famous Burn The Floor.
It was last month that Vito and Dianne were watched by some of their Strictly pals as they performed at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End, and more recently, Strictly pro Gorka Marquez and Vito's winning dance partner Ellie Leach watched them more locally in Manchester.
But away from what he's doing on stage, Vito took to social media with a gushing tribute to his brother, Jonathan, earlier this week, after it was previously teased that he makes an appearance in the show, albeit not in person.
Alongside a picture of the pair taken back at the start of the tour when Jonathan was on hand to support his brother, Vito wrote on Instagram: "Today I don't need many words to express what's in my heart:
"Happy birthday to you my little brother, you are the most important person in my life! I love you immensely and I would do anything for you @jonathan_copp."
The birthday boy was quick to respond, as he comment on Vito's post: "Thank you very much brother, no need for words. Thank you very much to all of you." Dianne also shared her own message, as she wrote in the comments section: "Happy birthday brother. We love you."
