Vanessa Lachey Celebrates Anniversary of Daughter Brooklyn Becoming a Taylor Swift Fan: ‘A Swiftie Was Born!’ liennhi

Vanessa Lachey is celebrating a milestone in her daughter's life — the day she became a true Taylor Swift fan!

The NCIS: Hawai'i alum, 43, commemorated a year since she and her daughter Brooklyn, 9, went to Swift's Eras Tour together with an Instagram post shared on Saturday, Aug. 3.

"A year ago today, a 'Swiftie' was born!" Vanessa began the caption of her post. "Brooklyn really didn’t understand the impact of her music and had never been to a concert in a stadium! The look in her eyes was one I will never forget."

At the SoFi Stadium concert in Los Angeles, Brooklyn wore a multicolor outfit and brown boots while the Love Is Blind co-host wore a denim ensemble. The mother-daughter duo accessorized with matching denim jackets emblazoned with "Lachey" on the back in white and gold lettering and decorated with a star fabric patch.

Vanessa's husband, Nick Lachey, walked the mother-daughter duo into the stadium in one of the photos. The trio's back was to the camera and the custom jean jackets were on display.

The carousel of photos also included candid snapshots of Brooklyn taking in the atmosphere of the stadium.

"She respected the showmanship, the lights, the music vibrations, the storytelling and colors," Vanessa's caption said of her daughter's reaction.

The Netflix personality explained that watching Swift's performance sparked conversations about work ethic and success between her and Brooklyn.

Vanessa said she also saw her daughter become more serious about her guitar lessons after watching Swift, although she picked up the hobby before seeing the show.

"She felt the Love of music that Nick and I share… she was just in awe," the former MTV host added. "As her Mama, I love this little music journey we get to have together!"

The mother-of-three referenced her husband's group 98 Degrees at the end of her caption.

"I also can’t wait for her first boyband crush!!!" Vanessa said of Brooklyn. "I got you, B and I follow the band’s tour with you! Haha! #BandAids 😏❤️."

Vanessa also thanked PEOPLE and SoFi, who co-hosted a Swift pre-concert party, for helping to make the mother-daughter memory happen.

Vanessa and Nick, 50, who celebrated 13 years of marriage in July, also share sons Camden, 11, and Phoenix, 7.

In June 2024, all five of the Lacheys attended the Eras Tour in London.

“So many core memories were created,” Vanessa wrote in a caption at the time. “Thank You @taylorswift for this incredible night we all won’t forget. (Especially me & Brooklyn!)”

“Watching my entire family light up and share our love of music and dancing for hours to you will forever be a favorite moment for me,” she continued. “These last two days in London have filled our cups! Lots of music, family & LOVE. Now… homeward bound. 🫶🏽.”
