Vanessa Grimaldi Opens Up About Pregnancy Loss Amid Questions Around Baby #2: ‘I Needed Time to Heal’ tram

In our thoughts.

Bachelor Nation fans first met Vanessa Grimaldi on Season 21 of “The Bachelor.” Since her time on the show, Vanessa found love off-screen and married her husband, Josh Wolfe.

The two tied the knot on August 20, 2021, and welcomed their first child, Winston, together in September 2022.

Earlier this week, Vanessa took to her Instagram to share the tragic news that she recently experienced pregnancy loss after getting asked multiple questions about when she’s going to have another baby.

She wrote, “I wasn’t sure how to share this. But, I knew I wanted to…A few months ago, I had the 2 biggest surprises: finding out I was pregnant, then finding out I miscarried.”

Vanessa shared, “It was a long few months of…ultrasounds, blood tests, doctor appointments and many conversations with family members, friends and sometimes strangers. It was a hard yet bonding process that made me feel less alone and ultimately helped me heal.”

Vanessa said the reason she wanted to share her story is to hopefully help other women going through a similar experience feel less alone.

She wrote, “Thank you to those who listened to me share — sometimes in tears, sometimes emotionless and sometimes with ease…If you’re reading this and need someone to listen to your story, I am here for you. You are not alone.”

Opening up more about how she’s currently feeling, she said, “[This topic] is still not talked about enough. For me, I needed time to heal emotionally and physically before I shared the news on here. I feel good about sharing my story with you, but the tears still happen and the sadness still comes every now and then. And that’s okay. If you need someone to reach out to, I’ll try my best to get back to you in my DM’s.”

She ended her post by saying, “To all the mamas experiencing something similar, sending you love and strength xo.”

Vanessa’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars like Clare Crawley, Amanda Stanton Fogel, Haley Palve, Sarah Herron, and so many more shared their condolences and love in the comments of her post. They also commended her on her bravery in sharing her story.

We are keeping Vanessa, Josh, and their entire family in our thoughts as they mourn the loss of their second baby.
