ANTON Du Beke has announced a brand new career move after facing a Strictly misconduct probe.

The under-fire judge on the BBC One competition was forced to issue an apology over historic footage that emerged.

It showed Anton, 58, calling actress Lalia Rouass a "P***" after she received a spray tan.

Anton - who has been part of Strictly since its launch in 2004, apologised for the comment while Lalia broke her silence.

And now the dad-of-two has revealed a new career path as he prepares to launch his first children's book.

Taking to Instagram, Anton told fans: "Hello, my loves. Well, I'm hugely excited because my debut children's novel comes out next week.

"And if you haven't booked a ticket to come and meet me on my Code Name Foxtrot book tour, why the devil not?

"I'm really looking forward to seeing lots of you in Hungerford, Bramall, Norwich and Horsham.

"It's gonna be great! I can't wait to see you all there. Lots and lots of love."

Meanwhile, the return date for Strictly Come Dancing has officially been revealed.

The much-anticipated launch date has been revealed as Saturday September 14th, with the first live show taking place on the following Saturday, September 21st.

Strictly fanatics can get their hands on tickets for show dates at Elstree Studios including September 21st and 28th, October 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th, November 2nd, 9th, 23rd, and 30th and December 7th and 14th.

Tickets for the iconic Blackpool show are available for Saturday November 16th.
