A TOWIE star has teased the show’s Christmas special could be in the making - two years after it was axed.

The Christmas special has always brought plenty of drama and rows as the cast get merry at a free bar.

Viewers expect a blend of festive glamour, heated confrontations, and of course, Essex-style celebrations.

In past years cast members like Amber Turner have shared behind-the-scenes sneak peeks on social media.

While nothing has been confirmed, Jodie Wells has teased it could be back this December.

She said in a Q&A: "With how the series ended I feel a Christmas special would be amazing".

Viewers were left unimpressed in 2022 when the traditional The Only Way Is Essexmas episode was axed.

This year there would be plenty to talk about over pigs in blanket and booze.

During the last few instalments of the ITVBe show, Junaid and Joe's romance has been teased to viewers after Joe and Harry's relationship was on the rocks in Cyprus.

Last Sunday Junaid broke down in tears as he candidly opened up on his feelings towards Joe.

And he told The Sun he and Joe have a bright future.

Junaid broke his silence on the Kids Like Us red carpet last night in London - admitting he is in the biggest love triangle in recent Towie history and his feelings for Joe are "100 per cent" reciprocated.

Junaid told us: "I’m at the centre of the biggest love triangle Towie has probably ever had in years. But do you know what I went with my heart and I had to be honest and open.

"Harry was my friend, Harry was with Joe, and I was honest and open about my feelings with Joe.

"It was one of those things I had to go with my heart we were in Cyprus."

Amy, 34, unfollowed Junaid along with Harry in a move of solidarity.

In retaliation, Junaid has also stopped following her, sparking a brand new feud.

Junaid told us: "It’s something I can’t say I didn’t expect, obviously Amy is Harry’s cousin, Amy is not going to have my back.

"She unfollowed me on social media, yeah quite a few of the cast have unfollowed me.

"And it is what it is at the end of the day, I genuinely don’t mean any harm to anyone on the cast I have only gone with my heart. I’m not the first person to do that and I’m not going to be the last."

Junaid also urged the cast to show kindness, adding that he didn't want to get involved in any drama online.

"I think we should be a bit nicer to each other," he said.
