The cast of series 35 recently returned from filming in Bali

If you follow the TOWIE cast on Instagram then no doubt you've been seething with envy over their recent, erm, work trip to Bali, just like us.
As gorgeous as their social posts have been, they did leave us mildly concerned that the cast really did just travel 8,000 miles to sit by the pool and have dinner overlooking stunning landscapes. Sorry, but where is the drama?
As much we love seeing this lot sunning themselves in glamorous locations, we came for the drama and expect the drama, not some wholesome holiday.

We should've had more faith in TOWIE producers, to be honest (sorry, babs), because according to Junaid Ahmed, the Instagram posts and stories are all a lie, as he claims that him and his boyfriend Joe Blackman were caught up in some serious scraps with the rest of the cast while filming in Bali and even 'walked out' at one point.
Phew, honestly, we didn't come here for A Place in the Sun and, be honest, neither did you – that's why you're reading this.

Shortly after touching down in the UK after a week or so in Bali, Junaid posted a collage of snaps of him and Joe together, with the caption, 'What a rollercoaster the last two weeks have filming TOWIE in Bali, but couldn't have done it without @joeblackman_98. We laughed, cried, screamed, walked out, meltdowns & loved.
'So happy to be back in our happy place, just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone in TOWIE production and our amazing execs for looking after us. It was a tough ride but we got through it. Forever grateful for everything you do and did for us.'

So, it seems the drama is still very much drama-ing amongst the TOWIE cast (no way it was going to be plain sailing after that chaotic Christmas special); they're just all getting better at keeping the show tea off their socials. It only took 35 series.
Around the same time, Joe also touched on the Bali drama in a separate post, writing, 'Reflecting. Bali... that was wild. I'm feeling very grateful for it, we are all so lucky to have these experiences with the show Once in a lifetime. So much happened in Bali, I can't wait for you all to see it. There was laughter, tears, tantrums, storm outs, drama that wasn't half of it, but also a lot of love. @junaidahmedx once again you got me through it. We are a team and got each other no matter what.'

While Junaid and Joe didn't allude to which of their TOWIE co-stars brought a whirlwind of dramz their way, we can take a a guess that it might have something to do with Joe's ex, Harry Derbidge being on the same holiday with Girl Band.
