The Real Housewives of Miami cast was on fire during the season 7 reunion taping.
“There’s something historic,” Guerdy Abraira exclusively teased to Us Weekly at DIRECTV’s Plot Twist featuring Bravo party on Tuesday, August 12. “It’s going to be Bravo history, as far as the news that comes out. … Nobody saw it coming.”
While Alexia Nepola isn’t ready to spill all the tea about what went down, she said the bombshell did not involve herself and Guerdy, 47.
“It was a bomb,” Alexia, 58, told Us at The Perch by Skylight atop PENN 2 in New York City. “Andy [Cohen] and I almost fell off our chairs. How do you react to that?”
Guerdy added, “It was intense to the third power.”
Earlier this month, Bravo confirmed the RHOM cast was sitting down for another reunion show. When the official seating chart was shared, Alexia and newbie Stephanie Shojaee were seen next to Andy, 57.
“I always say the reunion is the only time that I don’t want to sit next to Andy Cohen, but even he’s got that smile,” Alexia said. “He always makes me feel comfortable. I think it’s actually easier for me to sit next to him because I have the connection.”
While Alexia promises plenty of drama from the taping, she’s happy with how things turned out.
“I want to say it went quite well. My boss was very proud, and he’s very happy with us,” she teased at the New York event spotlighting DIRECTV’s MyEntertainment Genre Pack. “He thinks we’re, like, the best Housewives show, so I want to say it went pretty well. If we made him happy, we’re good.”
When signing up for season 7 of the Bravo show, Guerdy said she simply wanted to have fun. Although she got into her fair share of disagreements, the reunion taping allowed for truths to be revealed.
“There’s a lot of unsaid things, but I think that a lot of points were made, and a lot of truths were released and revealed,” she told Us. “Not everyone was happy about them, but you know what? It is what it is.”
At the end of their full day of taping, Alexia said one side of the couch went to dinner while the other side of the couch ate elsewhere.
“I felt like I could have sat at both tables,” she joked .
Before any sneak peek clips of the reunion surface, fans can look forward to seeing a wild trip to Spain. The cast — including Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton and Kiki Barth — are packing their bags and gearing up for an unpredictable getaway that airs on Bravo starting Wednesday, August 13.
“We had a lot of fun,” Alexia said. “I feel like the trips bring out the best of us and bring out the worst in us as well. When we sit down at a restaurant, it goes crazy. I don’t know if we’ll ever be allowed in another restaurant in Spain.”
