The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta paid tribute to Yolanda “Londie” Favors, the late cousin of Porsha Williams, in the latest episode of the Bravo reality series. Favors passed away unexpectedly in August 2024.During a call aired on the show, Porsha Williams told cast mate and close friend Phaedra Parks the news. Williams said the loss was "huge" and called Favors "the most giving person," noting her devotion, creativity, and work on the family foundation. Williams also noted Favors' honesty and the role she filled in their family.Parks commented on Favors' connection to Williams, saying that she was "like a little sister" to the reality television star.
During a confessional, Parks added that she was shocked by the news and informed that Favors had acted as the "backbone" of the family. She referred to Favors as young, smart, and nice, adding that she felt that Williams was highly impacted by the loss.Later that evening, the cast went to a formal reception called the "Black Glove Affair" thrown by Parks. There, Parks told the group of Favors' death. She said that Williams had not been at the reception because of the tragedy, and stated that she and cast member Shamea Morton had known Favors in person.
Cast member Cynthia Bailey responded to hearing the news during an interview, shocking and stating Favors was sweet and lovely. She referred to the incident as devastating.Parks ended her words to the group by reiterating the need for the women to be unified and support one another. She noted that regardless of whatever differences may have caused conflict in their pasts, they were sisters and needed to stand by one another since life can be unpredictable.
