The panellist expressed her worries over her daughter's first pregnancy
Loose Women star Coleen Nolan admitted that she's a "nervous wreck" as her daughter is expecting her first child.
During Tuesday's (July 22) instalment, Coleen Nolan was head of the panel as she was joined by Judi Love, Nadia Sawalha and Mariella Frostrup in the studio.
As the panel discussed postnatal depression and their experiences being pregnant, Coleen admitted: "When I was pregnant, I don't remember being worried, really. I just loved it, but it was way back in the day."
Reflecting on her daughter Ciara expecting her first child, Coleen shared: "Now with Ciara, because of social media, I'm a complete and utter nervous wreck. Because of the scare mongering.
"There's some great stuff and very informative stuff, but it's balanced. It's overridden by so much, 'if you do this your baby will die, if you do this when you're pregnant, you'll die'."
She continued: "It's like everything she does, I've turned into this 'look, I'll pick your tea up here'. I mean, I keep saying to her stay off social media because it's a scary place to be right now. Everyone has different opinions, different experiences.
"The only thing she has said to me, which is upsetting her more than anything, is 'Mum, how have you lived with breasts this big all your life?'" to which the audience and panel roared with laughter in response.
Earlier this year, Ciara revealed that she's expecting a baby with her fiancé Maxx Innes, a year on from the news of their engagement.
She announced the pregnancy on Instagram alongside a photo of herself cradling her baby bump on a beach whilst on holiday on Rhodes with Coleen, 60.
At the time, Coleen said: "I’m going to be a nanny for the 3rd time!! I can’t believe my baby is having a baby! Congratulations to my beautiful daughter Ciara and her fiancé Max, over the moon for you both."
It came after Coleen spoke about the news on Loose Women. She announced on the ITV show: "My daughter Ciara is expecting. So it'll be my third grandchild," before revealing that Ciara is already in her second trimester of the pregnancy.
She went on to share: "We've known for ages, but we've been trying ... y'know they like to keep it all secret until it's y'know."
"She's so excited. She's really scared and really worried, and she just keeps saying 'I mean you'll have it most of the time' and I'm like 'not sure that's in the contract'. But anyway, I will ... I'm already planning the nursery."
