The real reason why Stacey Solomon's mum is nowhere to be seen in her new reality show has been revealed.
Stacey & Joe, which follows the lives of the Loose Women star's life at Pickle Cottage, hit our screens earlier this month on BBC One.
The programme stars Stacey, 35, husband Joe, 43, their three children Rex, five, Rose, three and two-year-old Belle, and Stacey's two sons Zachary, 17, Leighton, 12, from previous relationships.
Stacey's dad Dave and her grandma Gwen have appeared in the first instalment of the show.
But one person who has not shown their face yet is Stacey's mum Fiona.
This is because Fiona is one to keep herself to herself and stay out of the spotlight.
Although she doesn't share much about her mum online, Fiona did appear on Loose Women back in 2017.
Speaking about Stacey as a teen, she said: 'I got to a stage where I thought, "What have I done, I must have been a terrible mother".
'It wasn't just Stacey, I have another daughter. Both my girls went through teenage years, it really was… tearaways.
'Stacey was the one who always got into trouble and always got caught. She bunked off school and got detention.
'In the end, we took her out of school and she went to stay with her nan. She knew exactly what to do to put her in line.'
Last week Stacey furiously hung up on her husband Joe Swash after he branded her ‘out of order’ and slammed her for ‘overreacting’ in a heated parenting row on their show.
The pair, who have been together since 2016, clashed in an awkward scene about mess at home from their BBC reality show.
Stacey and Joe were speaking to each other on FaceTime when the former X Factor star brought up that she wasn't happy about what Joe had done while she was away.
She explained: 'The argument was that I came home and I thought "Oh I'm going to tidy the front room, because the front room is a sh** hole".
'And all over my sofas was beans.'
Joe interrupted and said: 'No. No. How many baked beans were on the sofa?'
Stacey fumed: 'About 10 baked beans!'
Joe explained: 'They had beans on toast while they were watching Bluey.'
But Stacey was not impressed and replied: 'If I was going to feed the kids I wouldn't think to myself, where is the easiest place to feed them...'
Joe snapped back: 'I'm not you! I'm not you!
'You go on like you've never ever give the kids food in the front room. Which would be a lie.'
Stacey was having none of it and clapped back: 'I might give them a biscuit on the sofa...
'But I would never sit there and give them beans on toast on the sofa!'
Joe couldn't hide his anger and replied: 'Your reaction to me giving the kids beans on toast on the sofa is an overreaction.
'It's out of order.'
He added: 'Stace you're out of order. I spent the day looking after the kids...'
But Stacey clapped back: 'You are their dad! That is a normal thing to do...'
Joe wanted to end the conversation there, swiping: 'Okay, I'll speak to you later. I'll speak to you later.
'I'm done. I'm done with this conversation. Have a lovely evening.'
Then speaking to the camera, Joe sarcastically said: 'That went well didn't it?'
Back in July last year it was revealed that Stacey and her family would open the doors to Pickle Cottage for a fly-on-the-wall documentary about life with six children.
Last month Joe left viewers fuming after his unusual kitchen habit drove them to 'switch off'.
Stacey and Joe first met back in 2010 while appearing on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of here and the pair got together six years later.
Former EastEnders star Joe proposed to Stacey in 2020 and they tied the knot in their back garden of Pickle Cottage in 2022.
The couple share three kids together - Rex, five, Rose, three and two-year-old Belle.
Stacey is also mum to Zachary, 17, Leighton, 12, who are from previous relationships.
