Joey and Sara Carton threw the Love Is Blind fandom into a tizzy when rumors surfaced that the two had begun dating after filming wrapped and, in fact, were dating while filming the reunion episode. Although Joey and Sara claimed they were not together, Joey's ex-fiancé Monica maintained otherwise. According to Monica, Sara told her she was "seeing" Joey during a phone call in late February 2025.
In fact, Monica claims Sara consoled her after her broken engagement, leading to feelings of betrayal once the news came out.
Sara denied that she and Joey were dating on The Viall Files podcast in early March 2025. For a while, it was all a he-said-she-said situation. That is, until Sara posted on her Instagram feed on March 22, 2025. In the post, Sara said she wanted to stand up for herself and set the record straight. While she didn't confirm or deny her relationship with Joey, she did assert that the timeline was inaccurate, as she had never consoled Monica while dating Joey behind her back.
Writing that Monica's timeline of events was "inaccurate" indicates that Joey and Sara are probably dating.
