Meredith Marks and Britani Bateman are feuding on RHOSLC. Basically, Britani recorded the cast talking in the sprinter van, which led to Meredith accusing Britani of planting a recording device.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City drama is never anything BUT salty. This time, Meredith Marks and Britani Bateman are the two cast members fighting it out, and Britani says it was the worst day of her life.
Britani was caught recording the RHOSLC cast
Lisa Barlow said on the After Show: “You let us look through your phone, there was nothing on there, we looked at text messages with you and Jared [Osmond], we looked at messages with you and your kids.”
“Nobody could delete [anything] that fast. For me, I was like, ‘I’m resolved.'” And Britani is adamant she wasn’t doing it on purpose, and said: “I swear on my life, I was not trying to record the girls.”
Meredith accused Britani of planting a device
Meredith has accused Britani of planting a recording device in her room, which she denies. Earlier in the trip, Britani claimed she heard Meredith crying and throwing up in her room, but she said she wasn’t.
Marks then suspected Britani could have also been recording Meredith in her room, coming to the conclusion that was how Britani heard the noises she assumed were crying and vomiting.
“I was thinking about it… no! I didn’t bug her room,” Britani said on the After Show, laughing. “It’s absolutely ridiculous. I mean, you guys don’t know me yet, really, that well. You don’t know my heart.”
Britani says it was ‘the worst day of her life’
Britani calls the whole thing an “emotional” situation and called it “one of the worst experiences of my entire life.” Even the RHOSLC producer said it was weird she was filming the back of a seat…
She said, “I mean, if anyone had any proof that I had done anything to hurt anyone on purpose, that would be one thing. But no one did. Everyone was making the worst assumptions about me.”
Britani was caught recording the RHOSLC cast while they were travelling in the sprinter van. She innocently claimed she just wanted to get some videos to send her daughter of their cast trip.
However, the girls were not happy and said it was a private conversation. Meredith Marks was particularly shocked over the recording, and started screaming that she “wants her out” immediately.
Angie Katsanevas was the one who spotted her video camera was out, and asked her if she was recording them. Britani even offered to let her RHOSLC castmates look through her phone – and they did.
