The Habs clearly are hoping for a bounce-back game.

After another embarrassing defeat Tuesday on home ice, the Montreal Canadiens head out on the road for a two-game jaunt that begins Thursday evening with a game against Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals (7 p.m., TSN2, RDS, TSN Radio 690, 98.5 FM). Given the 8-2 loss Tuesday to the Seattle Kraken, the Habs clearly are hoping for a bounce-back game and judging from the morning skate in Washington, it looks like head coach Martin St. Louis has seriously mixed up the forward lines.

The Habs had a fairly good first period and after one, neither team had scored. The second period was a wild one, a rollercoaster ride that included three goals for each team. End of two and it’s all knotted up at 3-3.
