The Bachelor's Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar are married: 'Who said Bachelor couples never work out?' tram

More than two years after getting engaged on The Bachelor, Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar have officially tied the knot.

The couple confirmed their marriage in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, sharing a collection of snapshots from their special day that saw them standing at the altar, pouring glasses of champagne, and exchanging a kiss in front of their loved ones. The ceremony was held on May 23 in Texas, per county marriage records.

“Who said Bachelor couples never work out?” Biggar cheekily captioned the photo set. “Can’t wait to show you the rest of the photos!!!”

KAITY, ZACH SHALLCROSS
Shallcross re-shared the post on his Instagram Story shortly afterward. “We did it,” he wrote. “The love of my life forever!”

In addition to the photos, the newly-appointed Mr. and Mrs. Shallcross also shared a link to their wedding video, which featured multiple clips of the happy couple taken from the beginning of their Bachelor journey all the way to when Shallcross popped the question in Thailand on season 27 finale.

The clip also showcased the emotional moment when Shallcross and Biggar read their vows to one another at the dreamy outdoor ceremony.

“Kate, from the moment you stepped out of the limo and I looked into your eyes — those beautiful and unforgettable eyes — I knew something was different,” Shallcross said, reading from a book. “There was a spark. A calming sense that my life was about to change. And it did.”

He continued, “Since the moment I met you, you’ve made everything more special, more meaningful, more exciting, but what means the most to me is you love me for exactly who I am. And because of that I’ve never felt more seen, more secure, and more sure of anything in my life.”

Shallcross noted that he is “blessed” to have Biggar as his wife. “I promise to give you all of me, my whole heart, everyday, no holding back,” he added, “To show you in the little moments and the big ones just how deeply I love you.”

In her own vows, Biggar acknowledged that the pair's "love story ha been anything but ordinary," adding, “It’s been beautifully unexpected, perfectly imperfect, and uniquely ours. You have hands down been my greatest and most cherished adventure, and I can’t wait to see where life takes us — because if our beginning is any indication, we’re in for one incredible ride.”

Biggar became visibly emotional as she continued to praise her then-fiancé. “You are one of the kindest, most gentle souls I’ve ever known and you help me navigate life’s chaos with grace,” she said. “You keep me grounded when I feel like I’m spinning and you always find the light in things on the days where I can’t.”

After exchanging rings, the newlyweds sealed the deal a kiss, with Shallcross telling Biggar, “I love you so much, wifey.”

The video also showed glimpses of some of the speeches given by their family members, as well as a look at their wedding cake, which was topped with Funko Pop versions of the couple and their dog, Honey.
