Tessa Tookes Marries Joey Kirchner from ‘Bachelor in Paradise Canada’ — See the Video! tram

Congratulations are in order!

Bachelor Nation fans first met Tessa Tookes on Season 26 of “The Bachelor,” and then she got engaged to Joey Kirchner on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise Canada.”

The two have been keeping fans updated on social media about their wedding planning process, and now the two have officially tied the knot!

Tessa and Joey got married in a beautiful ceremony on September 21 in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada.

They were surrounded by family and friends, and fellow Bachelor Nation star Chelsea Vaughn also attended.

Tessa wore a gorgeous strapless dress and she and Joey walked down the aisle together while red rose petals were tossed in the air.

The two newlyweds took beautiful sunset photos, including ones with Joey’s grandparents, and had dinner under a tent filled with string lights and palm leaf centerpieces.

The lovebirds also changed into different party outfits later in the reception for the dance floor and pouring a champagne tower surrounded by rose red petals, which felt very reminiscent of “The Bachelor.”

Their venue posted a video with highlights from the day and wrote, “This bachelor in paradise love story can’t be told in under a minute folks, so strap in.”

Leading up to the wedding, Tessa and Joey posted a TikTok sharing a few things that they planned to do differently for their big day.

The first thing was having no flowers at the reception. Instead they had DIY seasonal bridal bouquets so their “hands [weren’t] awkward.”

The second thing was having three venue changes on the wedding day “to keep people on their toes.”

The third was that they were going to sign their marriage license during the ceremony instead of afterward, which tends to be more common.

They also shared that they were going to combine their families and have Joey’s grandmothers walk down the aisle with Tessa’s brothers.

The couple also revealed that Joey’s suit technically cost more than the bride’s entire outfit and that his signature cocktail was a bottle of beer.

The last thing they shared was not having official wedding colors, but from what we’ve seen, it looks like everything flowed together very nicely.

So exciting!

We are so happy for Tessa and Joey and congratulations again! We can’t wait to see what this next chapter has in store for the newlyweds.
