Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula shared their relationship with Summer House viewers since the premiere season. After rekindling their relationship at the end of Season 1, they were engaged the following year. The duo were off again after Kyle admitted to cheating on Amanda. Ultimately, the reality TV stars decided to fully commit to one another and tied the knot in September 2021.
So with all those milestones shared onscreen, it makes sense why fans are interested to know if and when Kyle and Amanda will decide to become parents. It’s something they’ve been considering for several seasons now. And the Loverboy founder recently teased where they’re currently at in considering parenthood.
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula are prioritizing “mental health” when it comes to family
In an exclusive interview with First For Women, Kyle admitted that he and his wife have put baby planning to the side. Instead, the duo have two “little fur babies to kind of hold us over.”
The Summer House stars started fostering their rescue dogs Reese and Ryder shortly after their wedding. They officially adopted the duo in February 2022. And it’s enough for now.
For her part, Amanda has a lot going on with her new swimsuit line. During Season 9 of Summer House, she also spoke honestly about needing to focus on her mental health. Adding kids to the equation now would not be optimal for the couple.
“We actually have a couple of conversations on camera coming up in this season, but ultimately, we kind of wanted to prioritize her mental health,” Kyle stated. “I feel like I’ve got so much going on with my business. And candidly, the dogs are a lot.”
As ever, Kyle is focused on expanding his Loverboy brand. He explained, “We’re focused on still getting Loverboy some distribution. We love doing collabs at Loverboy, so we’ve teamed up with a few different companies. It keeps things fresh, and it keeps things fun.”
