NICK Knowles has risked a fix row by revealing he's had dance training before signing up to Strictly.
The DIY SOS hunk will take to the ballroom floor this Saturday for his debut appearance on the BBC One show.
But while fans speculate on his pro partner, Nick has revealed he's previously danced.
The 61-year-old learned the tango earlier this year while filming a new travel series in Argentina.
But Nick also grew up around dancing - and danced himself until his father told him to stop.
He told MailOnline: "I grew up around it. I’m from a family of five kids on a council estate in Southall."My older sister was a ballroom dancer. My middle sister had a ballet school in the Cotswolds.
"My youngest sister travelled the world as a dancer.’ As a boy he watched them train.
"I used to join in a bit, but my dad was old-fashioned and when I got to six or seven he was like, 'That’s enough of that. You’re playing rugby now.' Which, don’t get me wrong, I love."
Meanwhile, a feud between Nick and another Strictly star appears to have emerged.
Montell Douglas, 8, fails to follow the BBC favourite back on Instagram, despite him following her on the platform.
It comes after she hit the follow button on all of her fellow contestants except for the home renovation show anchor.
