STRICTLY host Tess Daly stripped down to stylish swimwear on her luxury holiday ahead of the brand new series.

The 55-year-old has jetted off to Turkey to enjoy the sunshine before the BBC dance competition starts in the next few weeks.

Tess, who has presented the show since 2004, shared some stunning snaps on Instagram.

In one the TV star wowed in a halterneck swimsuit as she looked out into the sea.

Tess said: "Grateful to all the beautiful things that summer brings ✨💌."

Then in another post she shared a selfie with husband Vernon Kay.

Tess was all smiles in a white bikini and matching kimono, while Vernon looked stylish in a cream shirt.

The star looked great as she posed in front of some beautiful scenery in the swimsuit cover-up.

She captioned the post: "Sun & Sea ☀️🤍."

Many rushed to say how much they loved her post, with one saying: "Beautiful 🤩 💝🌊🫶☀️."

Another said: "Gorgeous Tess😍🔥."

"Calm before the dancing! @tessdaly see you soon! Kisses 🙌🔥," a third chimed in.

Last year Strictly Come Dancing returned to our screens on September 16 - so there isn't long to wait.

Tess has presented the show with Claudia Winkleman since 2014, and prior to that it was with the late Bruce Forsyth.

The show will have the fewest female celebrities in history.

A TV insider said: “Looking at the figures, it’s hard to see how the ongoing controversy over bullying could not have affected the recruitment process for this year’s Strictly.

“At no point in the show’s history has there been such a small proportion of women.

"It probably wasn’t the landmark number they wanted, given the show is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

“The most serious claims of abuse and bullying have involved male pros and their treatment of female celebrity dance partners.

“There were signs that there might be fewer women celebs taking part, one of which was the fact Graziano wasn’t replaced by another male pro on the show, but it’s still something of a shock to see.

"It means the odds are against a woman making it to the final stages of the competition.”

Last month Graziano Di Prima was axed from the show when a video came to light last month of him kicking partner Zara McDermott in rehearsals last year.

Colleague Giovanni Pernice is also being investigated following similar complaints from his partner Amanda Abbington.

This year's full line-up includes Chris McCausland, Jamie Borthwick, Nick Knowles, Pete Wicks, Tom Dean, Paul Merson, Toyah Willcox, Tasha Ghouri, Sam Quek, Shayne Ward, JB Gill, Wynne Evans, DR Punam Krishan, Sarah Hadland and Montell Douglas AKA Fire.
