STRICTLY fans fear a judge has secretly quit the 2025 series, after spotting a clue.
The judges on the current series of Strictly are Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke.
But fans of the hit BBC show think they’ve spotted a clue that Motsi might not be returning to the panel.
Motsi Mabuse was announced as the new Strictly judge for 2019, replacing Darcey Bussell on the show.
She first appeared as a dancer on German TV show Let's Dance in 2007 –the German adaptation of Strictly Come Dancing — before joining the judging panel, and then later becoming a judge on the UK version.
And fans have noticed that the tour dates for Let’s Dance this year clashes with Strictly.
Speculating that Motsi might not take part in this year’s show, one person took to social media to write: “Has anyone seen Motsi’s Let’s Dance 2025 Tour Dates? Is she out for Strictly 2025?”
They then listed the dates down, adding: “11/1, Saturday 11/8, Saturday 11/15, Saturday 11/22, Saturday 11/29, Saturday
That is 5 weeks of Strictly lives. It seems she is leaving Strictly?? THOUGHTS?”
But one person replied saying that Motsi always misses the Saturday dates on Let’s Dance.
They wrote: “The Let's Dance tour always has Saturday dates, Motsi just misses those ones. (i think she's usually replaced by Isabel Edvardsson?)
“This is what happens every year: they announce the dates, and then later they clarify who will be on the tour and which shows Motsi will miss.
“She could still be leaving, but this isn't evidence of that.”
Motsi's representative responded saying: "The tour schedule is no different and Motsi (as per all previous years) has cover for Saturday tour shows."
On 'Germany Strictly' Let's Dance, she has finished in fifth and sixth place with her celebrity dance partners over the course of two series.
Although she originally went on the show as a dancer, she took over from Isabel Edvardsson as a judge for the fourth season in 2011 — and is still on the panel.
Motsi's performances on Let's Dance caught the attention of the producers of Strictly, and she joined the panel in 2019 and has been on it ever since.
Before landing on the nation's favourite TV dance competition, Motsi was already no stranger to our screens, having previously appeared on Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox with her sisters Oti and Phemelo.
In a 2019 statement, Motsi said: “I am absolutely overjoyed to be joining the Strictly judging panel."
