Strictly Come Dancing's Tasha Ghouri admitted she feels "grateful" as she heads into her "next chapter" in a birthday message to herself.
The 27-year-old first rose to fame when she appeared in the 2022 series of Love Island. Although losing out to Ekin-Su and Davide who claimed first place, Tasha finished in fourth with her partner Andrew Le Page.
Outside of the villa, the couple dated after production ended, but eventually split in January 2025 after two years of dating.
Tasha was the first deaf contestant on the ITV dating show and she uses a cochlear implant. Since appearing in the villa, she has used her platform to raise awareness about deafness and advocating for the community.
Last year, Tasha graced the BBC ballroom as she took part in Strictly Come Dancing. She was partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec, and although making it all the way through to the final, it was comedian Chris McCausland who lifted the trophy with Dianne Buswell.
More recently, Tasha is currently involved in the gruelling Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, where the military show pushes famous faces to their limit.
Speaking about joining the Channel 4 show, Tasha admitted: "I really want to be able to actually walk away from the course feeling like I've accomplished what I wanted to do and I want to look back and think, wow, I did that, I'm proud of myself.
"I'll be doing this for the people who have doubted me. I want prove to them that they can't bring me down. I can fight my way to the end."
Taking to her Instagram, Tasha posted a collection of photos of her outside The Hoxton hotel as she celebrated turning 27-years-old.
She wrote: "Goodbye 26.. dancing my way into 27!! Feeling incredibly grateful for everything this past year has brought, the growth, the love, the lessons and special moments!
"26 was good to me, here’s to 27 and everything this next chapter holds !! Have a feeling it’s going to be magical.
"So much love to all of you, my friends & family who have been by my side through it all, going into this year with a full heart".
Her Strictly co-stars were quick to share their love, as Sarah Hadland wrote: "Happy birthday gorgeous girl" and Dr Punam Krishan added: "Happy birthday to our sweet girl..hope you have the best day and year ahead! Hope to party with you soon xxxx".
The star also took to her Instagram story as she shared various messages from fans wishing her well on her special day.
