Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell have been issued the same response from fans as they were given a warning after making a 'never' claim.

This week, the pair revealed they had been reunited for the first time since winning Strictly Come Dancing last year. There were tears aplenty when the comedian and the professional dancer lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy back in December.

Unlike some of the other couples, their dancing journey came to an abrupt end and the emotional pair went their separate way and while Dianne joined her co-stars on the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour, Chris headed back to his stand-up tour, Yonks!, which he started before signing up to the hit dance show.

They have joined forces for their very own podcast, Winning Isn't Everything, but for the first time since making history as Strictly winners, with Chris the first-ever blind contestant in the hit dance show, the champs had an in-person reunion.

Dianne revealed that she and her boyfriend Joe Sugg headed to see the comedian in his usual habitat as he took to the stage as part of his on-going stand-up tour, Yonks!

Sharing a video of her and Joe's trip to see Chris, and the in-person reunion fans had been waiting for, Dianne shared on Instagram: "Joe, me and the glitter ball went on a little road trip to visit the one and only Chris McCausland on tour (yonks).

"It was the first time we had seen each other since the final. We got to see him do his thing on stage not only was his posture 10/10 but it was genuinely the funniest thing I had ever seen. It was sooooo good to see ya partner #winningisnteverything."

Dianne, as she mentioned, took the Glitterball with her and they posed for a smiling selfie with the miniture version of the real trophy. The photo was then shared to their podcast's Instagram page but the Gliterball had been replaced with a Bafta.

For those who don't know, Chris and Dianne are among the nominees for the Bafta P&O Cruises Memorable Moment award. The award is voted on by the public and aims to celebrate the most impactful parts of the year’s television.

The Strictly winners, who are the second-ever to be nominated following Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, are nominated for their performance of You’ll Never Walk Alone, which saw Dianne leave the ballroom floor so her partner could dance on his own before she returned to spinning in his arms moments later in tear-jerking scenes.

Alongside the photo, a caption read: "Photoshop? Never! Winning Isn't Everything, of course, but if sure feels good... Last chance to vote for Chris and Di for the BAFTA!"

Meanwhile, Strictly also shared a video of the performance Chris and Dianne are nominated for an said: "There is still time to vote for Chris and Dianne’s Waltz to win this years BAFTA Memorable Moment Award. Vote closes this Friday April 25th. See link in bio to vote."

Strictly pro Vito was quick to respond, writing in the comments section: "YESSSSSSS VOTE PEOPLE VOOOOOOOTE FOR OUR WINNERS."

And fans were also keen to share the same message. @lisaclark3627 said: "You must win this. Never a more deserved win apart from lifting the glitter ball. In Chris's words you guys are astonishing and incredibly special. Loving your friendship and the podcast too."

@hoblouise commented: "They have to win they are both incredible what they achieved together! They will never be forgotten & go down in strictly history." @hoijordvictoria added: "Amazing definitely deserves to win."
