Aljaz Skorjanec has been flooded with messages from fans after he revealed how he'd been part of a 'lifelong dream come true'.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, who returnned to the hit dance show last year following a two-year hiatus, took to social media to document a very special outing with his dad.
After recently spending some time in Slovenia with his family, taking his daughter, Lyra Rose, to visit her grandparents, auntie, uncle and cousins, it appears Aljaz brought his beloved dad back to the UK with him for a special reason.
The professional dancer revealed that over the weekend, he and his dad headed to Silverstone to watch the F1 British Grand Prix 2025.
He shared a string of pictures to Instagram, and the smiles weren't far from either of their faces. Captioning the post, Aljaz wrote: "About 30 years ago my dad introduced me to @f1, and I’ve become a massive fan of the sport ever since.
"Now, thanks to @mclaren I was able to make his lifelong dream come true. What an incredible day, and what an incredible race! Seeing the cars up close and walking through the paddocks, geared up in @reiss… no better way to spend the day. #grateful #f1 #reissmclaren #fathersongoals."
THe comments quickly came flooding in, with fellow Strictly star Gorka Marquez responding: "Awesome this." Dragons' Den star and Aljaz's former dancer partner Sara Davies commented: "Look at his face! How amazing!" Dancer Marius iepure, who is also the husband of former Strictly star Oti Mabuse, shared: "Well done man."

Earlier this month, Aljaz admitted his 'dread' after being without Janette Manrara, which comes after he shared their emotional exchange during their time apart.
The BBC star had been spending time in Slovenia with his family, having jetted off alongside his and Janette's young daughter, Lyra, as she was back on tour with the musical Chicago having taken on the lead role in the show earlier this year.
Fans will recall that Janette made her stage debut in the iconic role of Roxie Hart back in March, before recently taking a break - but not of the rest kind. She instead was been busy performing alongside her husband Aljaz in their own show, A Night To Remember, which visited venues up and down the country.
It was last month that Janette returned to Chicago and she shared last month on social media that the would be spending longer than usual away from Aljaz and their daughter as he was taken her on holiday to visit his family in Slovenia.
Aljaz has now shared a sweet update, posting a picture to his Instagram page from when he and Lyra were at the airport at the start of their journey.
Alongside the post, the professional dancer candidly admitted: "I remember how much I was dreading travelling on my own with the little one for the first time… Now…. I CANT WAIT FOR IT. Cheers to the lovely chap who took the photo in the Check in line.."
Janette was quick to respond, as she commented on the post: "Not long before we’re together again!" But fans were distracted by Aljaz's luggage.
