Motsi Mabuse has told fans that her move away from the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom 'is out' for all to see as she takes on another major show.

The hit dance contest judge has revealed that she is part of a celebrity version of The Traitors in Germany. Those in the UK best know the series for airing on BBC One and being hosted by Strictly co-presenter Claudia Winkleman.

The popular competition show, filmed around Ardross Castle in Scotland, sees the "Faithfuls" tasked to discover the smaller number of "Traitors" and vote them out of the game, with the chance of winning up to £120,000.

Meanwhile, the group of traitors must secretly murder their fellow players without getting caught. Those left at the end have a chance of winning a chunk of the prize, but if a traitor survives until the end they can take the full prize.

Sharing a video to Instagram on Tuesday evening (April 29), Motsi confirmed her involvement in Germany's version of the popular gameshow and said: "Well... now it's out. I am a traitor. And no, I didn't choose it.

"I didn't mean to be a traitor. Traitor wanted MEE..." she added: "For all who have already seen it online (yes, I see you with your RTL+ premium subscription): Keep watching - it gets EVEN better.

"And for anyone seeing it today: welcome to the chaos. Now you know my big little secret. And don't forget: it's just a game... A very small, emotionally overloaded, crazy GAME. Let’s gooooo!

Sister and former Strictly pro Oti was quick to show her support. Resharing Motsi's video to her Instagram Story, she said: "Guys @motsimabuse is on Celebrity Traitors in Germany and she's a TRAITOR!! Can't wait to follow her journey."

Earlier this year, Motsi hailed the 'incredible impact' Craig Revel Horwood has had on her life as she gave a glimpse at their relationship away from the cameras.

The Strictlye star shared the message on social media as original BBC One dance contest judge Craig celebrated his 60th birthday. She shared a video of the pair posing for the camera on a photoshoot and alongside the clip, she gushed over her co-star in a rare declaration about the usually strict star of the hit dancing show.

Motsi wrote: "Dear @craigrevel. Happy 60th birthday to one of the most fabulous, inspiring, and unforgettable people I know! On this milestone, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact you’ve had—not just on Strictly , but in my life personally.

"When I first joined Strictly Come Dancing, you were one of the most amazing people to me. Your warmth, wit, and encouragement made my transition into such a prestigious and beloved show not only easier but an absolute joy. You welcomed me with open arms, and I will never forget how supported and seen you made me feel during those first moments."

"Over the years, I have come to treasure this. From our laughter-filled conversations to our shared love to Banter, you’ve shown me that beneath your legendary sharp wit is a kind, generous, and truly remarkable soul."

She added: "I feel so lucky to share this journey with you and to celebrate you today. Here’s to 60 wonderful years and to many more fabulous moments together. Sending you all my love and wishing you the most spectacular birthday filled with joy, love, and, of course, sparkle! See you sooooooon on tour. With all my heart, Motsi."
