Stephen Nedoroscik brings pommel horse back to Dancing With the Stars ballroom one last time on finale trucc

The Olympian and his partner Rylee Arnold delivered a gymnastics-filled freestyle.

The Olympics are back in the ballroom.

During season 33 contestant Stephen Nedoroscik's freestyle dance on the Dancing With the Stars finale, the bronze medal-winning gymnast brought Team U.S.A. flair to his routine. It opened with Nedoroscik returning to the pommel horse, his signature event as a gymnast (and what he won his individual medal for).

Both he and pro partner Rylee Arnold executed dance moves on and around the pommel horse. Then, the two stood on top of the horse and leapt off of it into their full dance routine. Some of Nedoroscik's teammates also joined him on the ballroom floor as he switched between ballroom moves with Arnold and gymnastic tricks with his team.

Arnold sported a red, white, and blue dress to emphasize Stephen's place on Team U.S.A., while he executed everything from back flips to an impressive sequence that echoed a floor routine.

The routine earned raves from the judges, who praised the use of Nedoroscik's skills as a gymnast as a way to make the number truly unique. Judge Derek Hough even confessed that while watching Nedoroscik compete on the Olympics this past summer, he thought the gymnast would be a great fit for DWTS — and this routine was the fullest realization of that journey.

Arnold and Nedoroscik landed their first perfect score of the season for the routine, bringing their total score for their two finale dances to 59 points.

Nedoroscik previously brought his pommel horse to the ballroom in week 4's "Dedication Night," dedicating his Argentine Tango to his teammates. "Recently, the NCAA has been cutting men’s gymnastics, and it could go away," he said. "Men’s gymnastics made me the man I am today. I want to be able to pour my heart out in this performance for my sport."

We'd say he's done that 20 times over now.
