Stephanie Hollman Exposes Real Housewives of Dallas Production Tactics: Alleges Cast Manipulation Through Hunger and Alcohol, Rejects Drama-Driven Expectations trucc

Former Real Housewives of Dallas star Stephanie Hollman has claimed the cast were 'starved' and 'over served' alcohol to maximise the drama on the show.

Hollman, 43, who starred on the show for five seasons before its axe in 2021, claims she would dispose of alcohol by spitting out shots or watering down wine to avoid being 's***-faced and starving' on TV.

Speaking on her  Weekly Dose of BS podcast, Stephanie said on a boat trip from season 3, the cast were 'not fed until maybe midnight, 1am' but were given 'a lot of alcohol.'

She said the cast were 'overserved alcohol on empty stomachs' during filming.

Stephanie said she can now only remember 'bits and pieces' of filming and said: 'I would rather drink poop than be sh*t-faced and starving on TV.'

However, a source close to the production denies Hollman's claims saying: 'To suggest that production starved anyone on set is simply untrue.'

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Bravo for comment.

Back in 2021, the show ended after a decidedly messy fifth season.

'There are currently no plans to bring The Real Housewives of Dallas back next year, and beyond that nothing official has been decided,' a spokesperson told Variety at the time.

While the network didn't officially cancel the series, there are 'no plans to go back into production on the show' which focused on the lives of an affluent group of women in Texas.

Dr. Tiffany Moon joined the cast for the fifth season, which also starred  Hollman, Brandi Redmond, D'Andra Simmons, Kameron Westcott and Kary Brittingham.

Former cast member Cary Deuber exclusively told DailyMail.com: 'With the cast there was no balancing force that held the group together. These type of shows need to have people that stick by one another. Being true to your friends & yourself is vital for an ensemble cast. If you can’t do that the ship will sink.'

Hollman and Redmond were the only two cast members from the original season, which premiered in 2016 and also starred Deuber, Tiffany Hendra and LeeAnn Locken.

Moon was the first Asian American housewife to join the franchise, and faced racism hurdles from the get-go after having to address a racist viral Instagram video made by Redmond.

'They ask me what Asian I am because my eyes, they squinty,' Redmond said in the 2017 video while mocking an accent.

While Redmond attempted to reconcile her actions on the show, she announced she was leaving the franchise to focus on her family, just days after giving birth to her fourth child.

Kameron and Tiffany also butted heads throughout the season, a fight that carried through to Twitter after Westcott's What What Happens Live appearance where she seemed to compare Moon to a Thai sex worker.

Westcott's attorney later told Variety that the comment was taken out of context and Kameron 'was referring to how the other Housewives acted during a trip to Thailand.'

RHOD was Bravo's ninth installment of the franchise, which includes Orange County, New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Miami, Potomac and Salt Lake City.

Real Housewives of D.C. was the only series to receive one season before it was canceled in 2010.

And while Miami came to a close in 2013 after three seasons, the Peacock network rebooted the series for a new season in February and camera crews have been well under way filming.
