Craig Conover pulled back the curtain on his and Paige DeSorbo’s relationship, revealing on Southern Charm how he navigated their romance pre-split.
During the Thursday, February 13, episode of the Bravo series, Craig, 36, weighed in on Shep Rose’s seemingly one-sided romance with model Sienna Evans.
Craig explained, “You shouldn’t have to force someone into liking you. If the person likes you, they’ll make time for you.”
He then confessed that he questioned Paige’s feelings for him at times because of her “priorities” and their distance.
“It’s an insecurity that I have dealt with because Paige is so busy,” Craig said. “Her career is one of her biggest priorities and I had to learn how to exist in that world.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Craig FaceTimed with both Paige, 32, and his costar Madison LeCroy to talk about the Southern Charm cast’s upcoming trip to the Bahamas.
Madison, 34, revealed that she was unsure if she should go because her husband, Brett Randle, was waiting to hear back about medical test results. However, both Craig and Paige told her she should have fun since Brett, 38, would be working out of town anyway. (Brett was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in fall 2023. He underwent surgery, and the cancer was eradicated.)
Madison ultimately agreed, telling her friends, “I guess I’m just celebrating every day that I’m not pregnant. So, YOLO.” (Madison announced on February 6 that she is pregnant with her and Brett’s first baby, her second.)
Paige was on the same, well, page, replying, “You and me both, sister.” Craig kept quiet after the remark but appeared to be visibly sad that Paige wasn’t ready to have kids just yet.
Earlier this season, Paige and Craig butted heads over their future. “Sometimes I do fall into that fantasyland of being like, ‘Oh, wow, we could have a farm and a bunch of kids,’” Craig told Paige during the February 6 episode.
Paige then confessed that she “definitely” feels “a little pressure” from Craig over their relationship timeline.
When broaching the subject of starting a family, Paige declared, “F— yeah it’s my decision because I’m the one that holds it in my f—ing body.” She told Craig at the time, “If you said to me right now, ‘We need to have a baby or I’m leaving,’ you’d have to leave.”
Southern Charm season 10 was filmed in spring 2024 ahead of Craig and Paige’s split that November. Paige announced their breakup in December 2024 and later revealed she broke up with Craig over Thanksgiving weekend.
During a preview for the remainder of Southern Charm shared earlier this month, Craig claimed he bought Paige an engagement ring after she asked him for one. The clip also hinted that the cameras picked up after their split and that Craig would share his side of the story on screen.
Paige, meanwhile, was accused of cheating on Craig earlier this year, which she has denied. She revealed in a teaser for season 9 of Summer House that her truth will also be told on her reality show.
“I’m like, ‘Craig, what are you talking about?’ I feel like you’re so betraying me right now,” Paige said in the Wednesday, February 12, extended trailer for Summer House, which was filmed six months after the rest of the summer 2024 the season.
She was distressed that Craig was allegedly letting people “say that I’m a cheater.” Paige then claimed, “I caught you texting two bitches in the course of our relationship.”
