Welcome to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 13 recap. Last time, Dorit and Kyle finally bonded over their marital woes. And Sutton stormed out of Dorit’s BBQ. Here’s what happened in RHOBH Season 14, Episode 13, “Caviar Catastrophe.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 13?
Jennifer is planning a party at Caviar Kaspia. The guests will enjoy caviar while sporting their best kaftans. I’m sure that Kyle has a wide selection from her kaftan era. Naturally, Sutton stopped by to check out the venue.
After all, Sutton wanted to fill Jennifer in about Dorit’s 4th of July BBQ. She explained how Dorit brought up her drinking with a shady joke. After all, last season, Dorit gossiped that Sutton “was a drinker.” Bless the editors for rolling some footage of Dorit slamming Sutton’s alcohol intake. Of course, Sutton’s first time seeing Dorit will be at the caviar party.
Meanwhile, Kyle met with her therapist, Jamie Greene. The house has been quiet because Kyle’s youngest daughter, Portia Umansky, was in Europe. This is the first summer that the family won’t be together.
“Then he’s going to do a guy’s trip,” Kyle said of her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. “He goes and lives his life … he’s having fun.” She also touched on how everyone wants to know if the couple is getting a divorce. “I think I’m anxious. I’m impatient because I want to know what my life’s going to be,” Kyle stated.
Of course, Kyle wondered if Mauricio was going to “sow his wild oats” and then return. “I always was so proud that I had been married so long,” Kyle said in her confessional. “I was like, this is my biggest accomplishment.”
For Kyle, Mauricio’s fear of living alone is not the same as his being afraid to be without her. Plus, when they were having problems, Kyle felt that Mauricio didn’t fight for her and their marriage. And now, Kyle feels like it is time to start moving on with her life. Finally, viewers get to see Kyle’s real feelings about her marriage.
Boz finds out some information about her fertility on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Dr. Duke, a fertility specialist, came to Boz’s home with her team and medical equipment. In fact, Boz has all her services done in her home.
So Boz, who is 47 years old, explained that she had two pregnancies. She lost her first daughter who was born pre-term. She also suffered life-threatening complications with her second daughter. So, having another pregnancy isn’t something that she is considering lightly.
Dr. Duke said that Boz and her boyfriend, Keely, have a two percent chance of conceiving naturally. The good news is that Boz has some eggs in her ovaries. For Boz, she just loves Keely and wants to have a child with him. I just hope that Keely is on the same page.
Now it is time for the Caviar and Kaftans party! Sutton is well-acquainted with Caviar Kaspia and their twice-baked potato with caviar on top. Yum? Boz and Dorit rode to the party together. While Boz thinks that they should tell Sutton that she is part of this sisterhood, Dorit thinks that she was looking for an excuse to leave her party.
According to Dorit, Sutton needs to “stop playing the victim.” She also called out Sutton’s behavior as being “inconsistent.” Finally, Dorit told Boz that she thought that they should call her out. Well, just another lovely, fun, relaxing dinner in Beverly Hills!
Jennifer arrived and stumbled on her Kaftan as she entered the venue. Then Kathy arrived, along with Kyle’s friend, Faye Resnick. When Dorit and Boz arrived, Garcelle noticed right away that Dorit wasn’t wearing a kaftan. Oops!
She didn’t read the entire invite, but she doesn’t love kaftans anyway. It seems that Dorit has a habit of not reading things, like her puppy adoption contract.
Caviar and low blows
After Sutton ordered water, Dorit asked if it was because of the incident at her home. After Sutton asked if she was allowed to drink water, Dorit asked, “Are you in that mood?” Oh, yes. Sutton is ready to name all the reasons she is tired of Dorit coming for her.
After Dorit commented about knowing which Sutton she was getting, Sutton posed a question to Boz. “How many people do you have in you today?” Boz was … confused. “How many people do I have in me today? Girl … one. Myself,” she said in her confessional. Hilarious!
As the food was arriving, Dorit told Sutton to “back off.” Sutton replied, “You back off me.” And she wasn’t done. So, Sutton explained how she graciously went to Dorit’s house for the BBQ, waited for Dorit to come downstairs, and then Dorit took her bag. “How vicious of me!” Dorit exclaimed. “Heaven forbid. A little humor.” Then Dorit gave a weird cackle, which Sutton imitated. Oh, boy. Here we go!
Next, Sutton told Dorit that she “insinuated” that Sutton had a drinking problem during Season 13. When Dorit tried to toss Kyle under the bus for also questioning Sutton’s alcohol intake, Sutton stopped her. You see, Kyle apologized for her behavior. Of course, Dorit tried to say that she apologized but a clip from the reunion showed otherwise.
Sutton slammed Dorit’s wallet size on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
“You picked at me. And I’m sorry, you need to pick on somebody else whose wallet fits,” Sutton stated. Kyle and Garcelle were stunned, and Sutton doubled down, stating that her wallet was bigger than Dorit’s. Damn!
In her confessional Dorit unloaded on Sutton for her comment. “Just because she thinks that her ex-husband dropped a big pocketbook in her lap, it gives her license to be such a f*cking c*nt.” Oof.
Poor Jennifer just wanted a fun, elegant party. When Garcelle suggested that Dorit apologize for her joke about Sutton’s drink, she did. After that, Kyle asked what both ladies needed to hear from each other. While Sutton replied that Dorit had nothing to give, Dorit turned her attention to Kyle. And she criticized Kyle for not stepping in during this argument.
Finally, Sutton said that they needed space, and Dorit agreed. These two have zero desire to be around each other. Then the amazing potatoes arrived, and they cost between $250 and $1,000. WOW.
Of course, Kyle followed Dorit when she walked away. And Dorit said that if she went low like Sutton, she would “eviscerate her.” To her credit, Kyle admitted that Sutton didn’t let Dorit talk. However, she advised the two ladies to talk alone. After being with Sutton in Georgia, and hearing about her father self-medicating with alcohol, Kyle knows why comments about drinking trigger Sutton.
The cast reacts to Mauricio kissing another woman on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Well, photos landed of Mauricio kissing another woman in Greece. From the jump, Garcelle was horrified. As for Sutton, she has been to that airport in Greece. She called the situation “shady,” noting that paparazzi don’t hang out there. She believes that Mauricio planned the photos as a shot at Kyle for hanging out with her friend, Morgan Wade.
Next, Boz FaceTimed Dorit. Boz felt like Mauricio and the woman had been together for a while. For Dorit, “it felt like a punch in the gut.” Same.
Finally, Erika FaceTimed Kyle. “I don’t really know how I am right now, to be honest,” Kyle said. When Erika asked if she knew this was coming, Kyle replied, “Not at all.” And she has no idea who the mystery woman is. Then Erika mentioned that meeting in public like that, Mauricio must have known cameras would catch them.
Then Kyle defended him, saying that he didn’t expect that in Europe. I mean, Mauricio could have given Kyle a heads-up about the photos, and his new girlfriend. But he didn’t. So, why is Kyle defending him?
