Rhys McClenaghan and his professional partner Laura Nolan have topped the Dancing with the Stars leaderboard with their powerful Tango, while Jack Woolley and Alex Vladimirov follow closely behind after a supremely confident Cha Cha Cha.
Meanwhile, Mrs Brown's Boys star Danny O'Carroll emerged as a dark horse in the competition when he and his partner Salome Chachua closed the show with an accomplished Charleston, earning a total of 36 points from the judges.
It was the highest score of the night and brought them to the third position on the leaderboard.
Sunday night's episode of the new series of the dancing show saw the competition heating up as all 11 celebrities took to the dancefloor for a second time around.
As well as Rhys, Jack and Danny, Joanna Donnelly, Elaine Crowley, Kevin Dundon, Yasmin Seky, Kayleigh Trappe, Mickey Joe Harte, Gearóid Farrelly and Aishah Akorede all put their hearts and souls into their dance routines, with varying outcomes and levels of enthusiasm from the judging panel.
With week two in the bag, the stars will now be looking ahead with apprehension as the first elimination is set to take place next Sunday.
Here's the story of the night.
