In videos shared by Bravo on its Instagram Story on September 10, Angie described her and Mary’s relationship as “very organic.”

“I love a lot of things about Mary. She makes me laugh. She’s light-hearted. I feel like she let me into her life and I really got to know Mary … And I think you’ll all get to know her this season,” Angie, who feuded with Mary throughout season four, revealed.

As for Whitney, she admitted that the premiere episode wasn’t an easy one for her to view, although she didn’t share any specific details as to why.

“That was hard to watch. It was hard to sit through but I’ve been trying to explain gaslighting for five seasons and you finally just got to watch it,” she explained.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season five premieres Wednesday, September 18, at 9/8c on Bravo.
