Lisa Hochstein has filed an emergency motion against her ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein, in an effort to prevent her former spouse from leaving their two children with his new girlfriend, Alena Kovalenko.
After Lenny, 59, confirmed he moved Alena, 25, into his $52 million Star Island mansion days ago, just weeks after meeting her, the 42-year-old Real Housewives of Miami star took legal action against him in an effort to keep 10-year-old son Logan and five-year-old daughter Elle away from the young Russian model.
In court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun on July 17, Lisa said she and Lenny are scheduled to leave town for work at the same time, and that her trip is “essential to her employment and income.”
She then noted that while the children were supposed to be left with Lenny’s mother, Marina Hochstein, whom she recently reconciled with, and their full-time nanny, Lenny “abruptly reversed course and unilaterally removed (his mother) from the caregiving plan.”
According to Lisa, Lenny did this in an attempt to “accommodate a new [25] year old girlfriend (whom he met in person for the first time two weeks ago via Instagram),… to remain unsupervised with the children in the primary residence during both parents’ absence.”
“The girlfriend is not a vetted caregiver. She is on a tourist visa, has no known legal status to provide childcare in Florida, and is a complete stranger to the children and their extended family,” she continued.
In her emergency motion, which she claimed to have filed due to Lenny’s refusal to communicate with her, either himself or via his attorney, Lisa asked the court to keep Lenny from allowing “any unvetted individual—including the aforementioned foreign girlfriend—from serving in a supervisory or residential role over the children.”
News of Lisa’s court filing against Lenny comes just days after she was featured on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she slammed his former fiancée, Katharina Nahlik, 29, while reacting to the recent reveal of his new romance with Alena.
“I don’t know her, [but] anything’s better than the last,” Lisa explained on the July 16 episode of WWHL.
