Shirley Ballas has told fans they'll need to 'hold on to their hats' as she made a major admission about the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The show's head judge will be back to cast an expert eye over the new line-up of celebrities and their professional partners later this year.
The BBC One dance contest will be waltzing its way back onto screens in just a couple of months time for another series bringing joy, laughter and a serious amount of dance to audiences all across the UK.
It was back in April that the BBC confirmed the professional dancer line-up for the 2025 series, with the celebrity line-up still to come in due course.
For the upcoming series, professional dancers Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez and Luba Mushtuk will take to the floor once more.
They'll also be joined by Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola.
And when the pro line-up was confirmed, it was also revealed that two brand new professional dancers will be making their debut, with their identities set to be revealed closer to the return of the show.
Taking to Instagram, Shirley shared reminisced about series gone by as she joined on the online trend. The TikTok and Instagram trend had been for couples, in which they claim to be asked 'how many months have you been together' before sharing pictures from each year of their relationship.
The former professional dancer, dubbed the 'Queen of Latin', turned to trend around to ask 'how many months have you been head judge on Strictly?' and proceeded to share a number of pictures of her time behind the judges' desk from over the years.
Captioning the post, she wrote: "It’s been 7 years, 8 seasons … I’m always blessed each year to return to the @bbcstrictly panel and this year is no exception. "Hold onto your hats, there are surprises like no other this year. Who’s excited?" She also added in the comments section: "Also not me picking big bird for 2023 lol."
And it's fair to say fans are excited. @strictlycariad said: "SO excited for the new series !!! also SO eager to find out who the new pros are!" @annlledpux commented: "One of the highlights of Saturday night TV , love a bit of strictly sparkle."
