Katie Rost is celebrating her sobriety.
The Real Housewives of Potomac alum, 44, revealed via Instagram on Monday, March 17, that she’s been sober for four months.
The former Bravo star posted a selfie of her smiling and shared in the caption that she’s sober from alcohol and narcotics.
“Grabbing my N.A. tag and my AA chip this week to celebrate 4 months CLEAN and SOBER,” she wrote.
She continued: “#Recovery by any and all means necessary. Let’s gooooooo! #katievibes”
Rost has been open about her struggle with addiction in the past. On Tuesday, Dec. 17, she posted an Instagram photo revealing that she had completed 28 days of rehab at Mountain Manor Treatment Center in Baltimore.
“I’m soooooo proud of myself. I didn’t walk into this on a winning streak,” she wrote in the caption. “But today I have such a sense of victory! Let’s gooooooooo👊🏾 thanks for the messages I’m reading through them now and crying tears of joy, give me a bit to respond. Xoxo #katievibes #sober #recovery.”
That same day in a different Instagram post, she revealed for the “next part of [her] recovery journey,” she would go to a sober living house in Fredrick, Md. “So that I have lots of support. This is certainly a marathon not a sprint!!”
At the 60-day mark of her sobriety journey, she proudly revealed on Instagram that she was “feeling GOOD” as she got a job as a hostess at Top Chef winner Chef Michael Voltaggio’s The Wye Oak Tavern restaurant.
On Monday, Feb. 17, she celebrated being “90 days strong and sober.”
“I loved getting my chip. This has been the hardest journey of my entire life. I have faced demons and fears and insecurities without my old friend and companion alcohol to dull away the pain. Nothing easy about it,” she wrote in her Instagram caption.
“Some days I really feel like everything sucks, but then a Real Housewives fan will come into the restaurant where I work, The Wye Oak Tavern in Frederick, and ask to do a selfie (I always say yes and love it guys) And they will tell me how proud they are of me. And it feels so good. Thanks for all of the faith, the journey and the unconditional love #katievibes #sober.”
