OLYMPIC bronze medallist Cindy Ngamba will make her eagerly anticipated professional debut on March 7 after inking a multi-fight deal with Boxxer and Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old capped off her decorated amateur career at the Paris 2024 Olympics, becoming the ever member of the Refugee Team to claim a medal.

But now, the Cameroon-born bruiser looks to stamp her authority in the pro ranks, appearing on the undercard of Natasha Jonas vs Lauren Price at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

Her promotional deal was announced via Boxxer’s social media pages earlier today, with Ngamba gearing up to showcase her scintillating skills on the all-women’s card in March.

Before entering the Olympics, the Bolton-based middleweight was denied the opportunity to represent Team GB as, despite living here for more than 15 years, she is yet to be granted a visa and UK Citizenship.

Instead, Ngamba was presented with the opportunity to become a flagbearer for the Refugee Olympic Team, leading her 36-strong squad at the Opening Ceremony in Paris.

Sure enough, the talented operator reached the women’s middleweight semi-final after amassing two comprehensive victories, only to fall short against silver medallist Atheyna Bylon.

Still, Ngamba can only go from strength to strength as a professional, captivating fans with her compelling story and undeniable skillset.

As of now, Ngamba still trains at the Elite Boxing Gym in Bolton, where she has plied her trade under the tutelage of seasoned coach Alex Matvienko.

But of course, she must now live up to her potential in the pro ranks, initiating the start of what promises to be an illustrious career live on Sky Sports.
