July isn't even over yet but here's an early look at the lines before players trickle into town
As we inch closer to the 50th anniversary of the Washington Capitals lets look at the projected lines and depth chart for the team as we enter the dog days of summer.

There are still some lineup questions as we inch closer to the regular season. Lots of mysteries about the lineup remain unsolved. The future is unclear for many stars. But the one thing we all have is hope and the power of friendship.
Per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News, the Caps have done their part to keep busy over the offseason. Ovechkin was on the workout bikes with Dmitrij Jaskin. The duo each played in the NHL vs. KHL All Star Game not too long ago and Ovi showed he still has that dog in him as he scored on a feed from Artemi Panarin.
Nic Dowd and Nick Jensen continued their offseason workout training despite Jensen getting traded on July 1 for Jakob Chychrun. They each suited up in Da Beauty League in Minnesota. They also trained with goaltender Charlie Lindgren who's expected to be the number one netminder heading into the season.
Chychrun skated back in Sarnia while teammate Brandon Duhaime is skating in the SoFlo League in his home state of Florida.
