Pregnant Madison LeCroy Shares a Peek at Her Cherry-on-Top Themed Baby Shower: 'Full Girly Mode' tram

Madison LeCroy is celebrating her baby-to-be!

Over the weekend, the pregnant Southern Charm star, 34, hosted a cherry-on-top-themed baby shower to celebrate her little one on the way. LeCroy, who partnered with Minted for the pink and blush-toned decorations and invitations, spoke with PEOPLE after the big day about what made it all so special.

"We had this long table that sat 35 people with just the most beautiful flowers you could imagine," LeCroy tells PEOPLE. "I think that was probably my favorite thing about the whole thing, but nothing was bad."

The reality TV star was lucky enough to have her childhood best friend, Erica Missel, who also doubles as a celebrity wedding planner, put together the entire shower, and LeCroy couldn't stop raving about how much she loved the day.

"I told her, I was like, 'I like this more than my wedding.' And she's like, 'Well, why? Because it's all pink?' " jokes LeCroy. "We went full girly mode."

"With her in charge, I just got to sit back and enjoy literally every bit of it," she continues, saying all she had to do was show Missel a Pinterest picture. "Thank God for her, but I can't take credit."

Although she let her friend take the wheel on most of the planning, there was one thing that LeCroy knew she had to have at the event.

"I mean, I just wanted to make sure that there was good cake," LeCroy says of her strawberry-filled vanilla cake and sugar cookies, made by Wicked Fancy Cakes. "I know sometimes you look at it and you're like, 'Wow, this looks really pretty, but does it taste good?' So we definitely executed that with the cake."

"As far as the stationery and stuff, Minted came through with a better vision than we had even hoped for," she continues. "They had the signs, and the menus and the invites. And everything was seamless."

"To be completely honest, I had this vision when I was younger, like 18. And I was like, 'I'm totally going to be a boy mom with three boys,' " she says. "I never thought in a million years I would get so lucky enough to also experience having a girl."

"And so Hudson, Brett and I are just ecstatic with the fact that...I know they're excited about having another mini-me, so we're going to take over the house."

Her son Hudson, 12, whom she shares with a previous relationship, is "super excited" to become a big brother, although there's one thing in particular he keeps ruminating on.

"He keeps saying that he's going to be rich," LeCroy jokes. "And I was like, 'Well, how's that?' And he goes, 'Because I'm going to be the babysitter."

"I think with it being a girl, obviously, I think all boys would love to have a brother. But I think a girl — he's so sweet and kind-hearted that he's just going to be the best big brother. And who's to say maybe, hopefully down the road, we don't have another one that's a boy."

When she thinks to the months ahead after she's welcomed her little one, LeCroy says she just can't wait to see how her family of four comes together.

"I feel like I'm more excited of seeing how Hudson and Brett react, especially with Brett, this being his first biological child and seeing Hudson as a big brother for the first time," LeCroy tells PEOPLE.

"I feel like I'm just going to be sitting back and watching my two favorite people experience this for the first time," she explains. "And I think that's what I'm most excited about."
