Madison LeCroy is having a baby girl!
Three weeks after revealing that she's expecting her second baby, her first with husband Brett Randle, 38, the Southern Charm star, 34, spoke with Parents about her second pregnancy, her reaction to finding out the sex of the baby and more.
LeCroy, who is already a mother to son Hudson, 12, from her previous relationship with ex-husband Josh Hughes, revealed that she and her husband are expecting a baby girl publicly on Amazon Live Baby Gender Reveal on Thursday, Feb. 27.
"I felt there's no way I am going to get a girl. It's not going to be a perfect situation where I have the boy and the girl, but it worked out in my favor, and I'm so excited,” she told the outlet. “I have a feeling I'm going to have to work a lot harder and make more money because the clothes are just adorable!”
Ahead of the sex reveal, LeCroy said that many of her fans and social media followers were predicting that she was having a girl.
“At first I was like, ‘Oh my God. How do they know?’ But I am carrying completely differently than I did with Hudson,” she said. “Everybody wanted me to have a girl because they've seen me as a boy mom for the last 13 years. This will be a whole new world.”
The reality TV star said that her husband and son were hoping for another boy, but ultimately are just happy that the baby is healthy.
“I screamed when I found out it was a girl, so Hudson and Randle were like, ‘She's excited, so we have to get on board with this,’ " LeCroy recalled. “But who's to say I don't just keep going? I mean, maybe the next one will be a boy.”
Earlier this month, a rep for the couple confirmed with PEOPLE that the couple is expecting their first baby together. LeCroy, who partnered with Clearblue to share the happy news, said she was "shocked" to learn about her pregnancy.
"Honestly, when Brett and I were making this plan of growing our family, I was like, 'Okay, we've got to make this as easy as possible,' " she shared with PEOPLE. "So I actually started using the Clearblue ovulation test, and I got a smiley face. Once we got the smiley face, we were like, 'Okay, it's go time,' and it instantly happened."
"I was shocked, I thought I had all summer long, but it happened and I felt actually pretty great other than some minor headaches," LeCroy continued. "But other than that, just eating all the food and enjoying myself."
