Phaedra Parks is trending – but when isn’t she?! The mortician, attorney, and mom of two has been booked and busy for a while now. After a spell away from TV, Phaedra appears to be back in demand. Although, people are taking to X in full force this January to say they’re not sure why she’s a Married to Medicine cast member.
The show title ‘Married to Medicine‘ should be a big hint as to what’s required to appear as a cast member. The ladies who star are usually in relationships with people working in the medical field, or they’re in the healthcare field themselves. In Phaedra’s case, people aren’t seeing a doctor hubby on her arm, but she did actually begin her first episodes of the show loved-up with a medical professional.
Phaedra had a genuine Married to Medicine connection
Most people will know Phaedra from Real Housewives of Atlanta.
She joined the show in its early days, was once good friends with Kandi Burruss, but the two fell out over some controversy related to Porsha Wiliams, and they’re still on bad terms today.
After the controversy, Phaedra no longer appeared on RHOA. But, fast-forward to recent years and Phaedra had a reality TV redemption arc.
She’s been on The Traitors US and is now entertaining people on Married to Medicine. Speaking in an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea this January, Phaedra explains how she features in the “tail end” of the new RHOA season coming in 2025, and people are on the edge of their seats!
Phaedra began Married to Med with a doctor boyfriend. She doesn’t seem to still have him around. But, people who really love her could care less – she’s apparently “that girl” these days as she gets an ad deal with Silk Almond Milk.
RHOA star has undeniable star quality
No only did Phaedra once have a romance with a doctor, but she dabbles in holistic therapy, so she had not one, but two ways to back up her Married to Medicine casting.
Regardless, it seems some people are here for her appearing on the show – medical connection or not.
Some people really haven’t been impressed with Phaedra’s Married to Med scenes, however, tweeting all kinds of tweets along the lines of “she doesn’t even go here!”
More said: “…guys, we are losing the plot. Why is Phaedra on Married to Medicine when she’s not even married to medicine, my love!”
Others had to laugh at Phaedra’s medical “connection,” writing: “So this Reiki thing is Phaedra’s way of being the ‘medicine’ in Married to Medicine.”
