Dunne is second on the NIL top earners list behind Shedeur Sanders
With over 14 million followers on her social media accounts, Olivia Dunne is the woman who has best capitalized on her name, image, and likeness (NIL). Because the social influence of college athletes has always been significant, especially in the cities where their universities are located, student-athletes have been allowed to benefit from their NIL since 2021. Dunne, a national champion in gymnastics with LSU last season, has a NIL valuation of $4 million, according to On3.com, but that's not the most impressive part.
Dunne's New NIL deal with Paul's W Pushes LSU Star's Earnings Past $9M
After a party at the home of Michael Rubin, billionaire owner of FANATICS, the premier sports apparel and merchandise store, Dunne and Jake Paul discussed W, which Paul launched with Walmart last June. W is a personal care line aimed at Gen Z, including body wash, spray and antiperspirant/deodorant, all priced under $10. Now Dunne is part of the brand as she announced her latest NIL deal in a stunt-filled video. With this new deal and her massive following, Livvy has earned a total of $9.5 million during her time at LSU. According to On3.com, she makes $3.9 million a year and that number is sure to continue to rise this season.
Dunne told WWD, "I met Jake last summer at Michael Rubin's White Party. Seeing how passionate he was in person really made me want to work with him." It could be that, or the dollar amount she knew she could generate with Paul, who is a little over 20 days away from fighting Mike Tyson. The truth is, it's impressive what Dunne has accomplished at the age of 22 while pursuing her dream of playing sports and studying at the same time.
Livvy Dunne Seals Final NCAA Gymnastics Season with Top NIL Deals
Dunne is now training and preparing for her fifth and final season of collegiate gymnastics at LSU. She is the captain of the defending NCAA championship team. Dunne, a two-time SI Swimsuit model, also has endorsement deals with Passes, Nautica, Motorola, Reebok, Topps, Tampax, Forever 21, American Eagle, Vuori and others. Since the start of this NCAA season, he has been behind Shedeur Sanders in NIL deals, with Buffaloes Heisman candidate Travis Hunter, Arch Manning of the Texas Longhonrs and Duke's Cooper Flagg rounding out the top 5.
