Olivia Attwood has responded to rumours of "conflict" on Loose Women.

There has recently been a lot of speculation over the cast's relationship behind-the-scenes, with reports claiming that several of the panellists have fallen out.

Speaking on the Glad We Had This Chat podcast, Olivia confirmed that she hasn't seen drama backstage and praised her co-stars for welcoming her to their already existing "friendship".

"It's that thing we love, women to be at war with each other – it's so exciting," she told host Caroline Hirons.

"I have not seen conflict at Loose. The women have a lot of fun with each other. Like it's naughty, they're silly, they're mates.

"There's some of these women have worked together for 20-odd years. They know each other inside out. And that's also credit to them for making me feel so part of it, because I'm coming in there with friendships that have been existing long before I was."

Olivia went on to reveal how she felt when she joined the popular daytime show last year, with the former Love Island star preparing herself to not resonate with viewers.

"I actually really was like, I've got nothing to lose here because if the daytime viewers don't warm to me or isn't a fit or the women don't like me, it's all good training, it's all good experience," she explained. "So, I was up for it."

"[The show's bosses] said they weren't surprised at all. And I guess that's why they're the bosses and they know what they're looking for. But I guess I was surprised how quickly it just felt like I'd been there forever."

Since joining the show, Olivia has shared her thoughts on a number of topical subjects, including motherhood, marriage and self-discovery.

Earlier this year, she took part in the show's domestic abuse campaign, Facing it Together. Alongside seven of her co-stars, Olivia featured in an emotive short film to raise awareness around the important issue.

"I think by being transparent, it might help someone else in a similar situation," she shared.

Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
