NFL Star Jason Kelce's Daring Dance: Will 'Dancing with the Stars' Lead Him to Glory? trucc

The Disney+ and ABC stellar show will premiere its new season by mid-September.

Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce is seriously considering trading his cleats for dance shoes! The recently retired NFL star has been invited to join the cast of "Dancing with the Stars" for its upcoming 33rd season, and he's definitely interested.

"He wants to show his dancing skills," an insider told The US Sun. The decision is expected to be made within the next few weeks, as the full line-up for the ABC and Disney+ show will be confirmed by the end of August.

Jason, who hung up his football helmet earlier this year after a stellar 13-year career, is set to embark on a new journey as an ESPN pundit for Monday Night Football. This new gig means a lot of juggling-and traveling-could be on the horizon for the 36-year-old.

"He will have to figure out his schedule, but he's enthusiastic," the source emphasized.

Jason will have a busy end of the year

"Dancing with the Stars" kicks off on September 17 and is filmed in Los Angeles. Given that the NFL season starts just two weeks earlier, Jason might have his hands full.

"But that's just the way Jason likes it," the insider noted. "He looks forward to being on TV when the NFL season starts. But he also wants to do multiple things and loves TV shows."

In fact, Jason has been courted by numerous shows since his retirement. "He's been asked to appear on plenty of shows in the last few months, and he is really interested in being on some of them. Jason is sure to have fun on 'Dancing with the Stars' and hopes it will work out in the coming season," the insider added.

Even "Dancing with the Stars" pro Jenna Johnson has her eyes on Jason. She recently told People, "He just retired. It's the perfect thing. If his wife wants to do it with Val, we could do that. A lot of the time, with our male celebs, this little girl yelling at them all day to do the cha-cha-cha on time is probably not the most fun thing. So, I think that they can handle that."

The Kelce brothers are among the most wanted

Jason and his brother Travis have become hot commodities thanks to their successful "New Heights" podcast. They were recently spotted in Europe, discussing business deals and advertising opportunities that could be worth millions.

Business is booming, and an appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" would only enhance Jason's mainstream appeal.

"Jason is enthusiastic about being on this show, trying to have a good time and maybe win it," the source smiled. "He's excited about the opportunity."

Whether he's on his weekly podcast, shaking it on "Dancing with the Stars," or cheering for Team USA at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Jason Kelce continues to captivate audiences everywhere he goes.
