Multiple Tense Legal Battles Are Unveiled In the Jaw-Dropping RHOP Midseason Trailer tram

Fasten your seatbelts because it looks like things will be bumpy in the second half of this season on The Real Housewives of Potomac.

The Season 9 midseason trailer teased several legal battles for a few of the Housewives. Although a resolution has yet to be seen, the women showed no signs of backing down when facing problems and uncertainty head-on.

What will happen on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9?

Gizelle Bryant is facing potential legal challenges in the wake of her father’s July 26, 2023 passing. In the midseason trailer, the GnA cofounder sat with loved ones, touching on the hurdles in sight concerning her late father’s assets.

“I’m in court to try to get that will thrown out,” said Gizelle. “I know that he didn’t want me to have to go through this.”

Gizelle’s father, famed Civil Rights activist Curtis Graves, was diagnosed with brain cancer on July 10, 2023, and died less than two weeks after undergoing surgery. Earlier this season, Gizelle organized a fundraising event with the National Brain Tumor Society to honor her late father, which ended with the host kicking out fellow castmates Mia Thornton, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch, Keiarna Stewart, and Jassi Rideaux.

Details about the father’s will in question weren’t revealed in the trailer and, of course, Gizelle’s uphill battle isn’t the only one in store.

Karen Huger’s ongoing legal drama has been a focus since the RHOP Season 9 premiere, stemming from her March 19, 2024 driving incident. The Grand Dame has notably kept mum about the event, citing the ongoing legal proceedings, but the topic isn’t going anywhere if the recent trailer is any indication.

The teaser showed the women seated at a daytime party when one of the guests arrived with eight pink balloons, brazenly announcing that they “signified” the eight citations related to Karen’s arrest. Guests, including Ashley Darby, were visibly shocked, and Karen wasn’t taking the gesture sitting down.

“Now, I’m gonna give you a countdown to get your ass up off my property,” Karen angrily pointed a finger.

While Gizelle and Karen may be facing actual judges, the Housewives appear to hold court for “a Mia intervention” as Mia’s personal life continues to draw scrutiny. As seen throughout the season, Mia has juggled her ongoing separation from Gordon Thornton, dating her new boyfriend, Inc, and brewing questions over her youngest son’s paternity, a hot topic since the start of the season.

Inc told Mia it was time she “put some boundaries in place" in the new trailer.

“Everything Mia has been telling us is all a lie,” Wendy told the others, including Karen and Gizelle.

Newcomer Stacey is also dealing with her own drama with her boyfriend, T.J., who took a vow of celibacy due to his Christian faith. Although Gizelle and Karen might want the former QVC host to have more penises — or “pen-i,” Gizelle wondered aloud — Stacey seemed to struggle with her commitment to the new beau.

“Would you stay if I did see other people?” Stacey asked T.J. in the midseason trailer.
