Bravo TV's "Real Housewives" shows are proven money makers and the relatively new addition "Married to Medicine" appears to be continuing this trend.
The show, which is on its third season, revolves around a group of socialites in Atlanta. But what makes this show different from the Housewives show is that half of the group are doctors while the others are married to doctors.
But aside from that small difference, the show is reminiscent of Bravo's other hit series.
The third season is already underway and is turning out to be more volatile than the previous seasons.
For one, the bad blood between Dr. Simone Whitmore and Toya Bush-Harris appears to be getting worse this season, with the former thinking that doctor's wife Toya is dumb and the latter thinking Simone is a bad mother. Both have already made their feelings known to each other but the way things are going, it seems this will be an issue that will keep surfacing this season.
It has already gotten to the point where Dr. Simone's best friend, Jacqueline Walters, is trying to understand why the doctor is letting someone she hardly knows affect her so badly.
As Jacqueline pointed out to Dr. Simone, they have been good friends for 20 years so she is wondering why "somebody who was not that close to you would have that much control that it takes you to such a bad place?"
Cast mate Lisa Nicole agrees and suggests that maybe the good doctor should "talk to someone to figure out where all the anger comes from."
But Dr. Simone and Toya are not the only ones butting heads. It seems Lisa Nicole Cloud and Quad Webb-Lunceford are still bringing the drama, with accusations (and glasses) allegedly being thrown at each other after background checks revealed some secrets.
Quad discussed that background check with Hip Hollywood and said she decided to do some digging without Lisa's knowledge because Lisa checked first.
"I want to assure you it was not to hurt her or her family," she said. "It was more like mirroring her behavior."
"Married to Medicine" can be seen on Bravo on Sundays at 8pm.
